Hi everyone! California allows "hunters" to go out and use radio-collared dogs to tree terrified predators like bears and bobcats before shooting them to death. While mountain lions are protected from such a cruel, terrifying death other predator species have sadly been suffering such a fate. Right now there is a bill introduced by State Senator Ted Lieu that would ban this kind of hunting. Please sign, share, and note! Mule deer along with many other species are in danger of losing their habitats due to oil shale and tar sands developments in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. As much as 2 million acres of land would be opened up for this destruction. Alternative 2(b) to the Environmental Impact Statement would exlude vital habitat areas from development, especially for the mule deer. They've already been suffering from population decline and we can't afford to lose anymore through development! Please sign and share! Thank you!

Governor Herbert of Utah has until March 28 to review a bill that would allow the state of Utah to pay people to kill coyotes as their "solution" to boosting mule deer population numbers. Lions, tigers, and other large cats suffer from neglect when owned by private owners. The horrible massacre in October of last year was due to an owner of exotic animals letting them all loose before committing suicide. Tony the Truck Stop Tiger has lived in horrible conditions for years. It has time for it all to come to a stop!
