copywrighting my book

I just signed the petition:
get-rid-of-the-3-year-statute-of-limitations

I do not know even how to go about copywrighting my book and I have been asked to please get it out asap! (does it cost alot to do?) I am currently on SSI but people have seen my website of some of my work and want to order it now..


It is more important for me to get the info out there than getting the credit (I don't think anyone would voluntarily want to claim my experiences)

It is my story in poetry and pro's about my survival from incest from the age of 6 months to 21 years.  The mental health system and things that both helped and healed me and the things that could/should have been there to make my recovery a little easier.

I have a friend who will put those plastic side pieces on and has the machine to punch the holes.  I have completed the cover but I am not feeling like it is finished or all comming to gether as I had hoped.

Any feedback or comments would  be greatly appreciate.  I have my work on a care2 group site. below
