This is a short list of the things I like most about myself. I would encourage everyone to make a similar list. I found it very difficult....
1. I allow myself to love, even though I've been hurt many times....
2. I like to try new things, just because they are different....
3. I try to improve my community....
4. I am a good listener....
5. I do my best to keep my promises....
6. I like to create artworks....
7. I am good at carpentry and woodworking....
8. I care about the people around me....
9. I can be very calm and patient in difficult situations....
10. I am very good with animals....

Here's a short list of the things that I like least about myself....
1. I don't really know what I want out of life....
2. I don't allow myself to enjoy life fully....
3. I keep myself guarded, and don't let people in....
4. I am very emotional, and sometimes show my emotions inappropriately....
5. I often suppress all emotion, and people think I am uncaring....
6. I am too honest sometimes, and hurt the feelings of others....
7. I don't exercise nearly as much as I should....
8. I am too much of a perfectionist....
9. I don't really believe in myself....
10. I seek comfort in food when I'm angry or depressed....

Things to do before I die...

This is a partial list of things that I'd like to accomplish before I die....
1. Take over the family farm, and prove that I can manage it well....
2. Become an accomplished photographer....
3. Learn to paint....
4. Create a large sculpture....
5. Complete the Manitoba Marathon....
6. Make a real difference in the world, one that will go on long after I am gone....
7. Make the Legion of Frontiersmen a household name, at least in my local area....
8. Raise wonderful children....
9. Write a book....
10. Learn to love myself....

These are some of the things that I wish someone would have said to me when I was younger....
1. You're not as ugly as you think you are....
2. Your grandparents won't be around forever, write down a few of their stories....
3. I want to talk to you about your real father....
4. Why are you so sad?
5. Not every girl is going to hate you....
6. Here's a camera, go out and take some pictures....
7. What do you think?
8. We need your help around the farm....
9. They won't hurt you anymore....
10. I love you...

The joys of farm life...

Ever wonder what farmers spend most of their time doing?
1. Talking about the weather, and how much rain their neighbors got....
2. Getting licked or kicked by livestock at very inopportune times....
3. Looking at the horizon, wondering if there's time to finish working in the field before it rains....
4. Having dogs and cats underfoot all of the time....
5. Checking fence continually, and trying to find that one calf that always gets out....
6. Planning for that holiday that never seems to come....
7. Having large animals poo on them. No, really, it happens....
8. Being on the wrong side of a cow that's peeing in a strong wind....
9. Spending time talking to the banker....
10. Reading all of the farm papers and magazines, and wondering why all the farms in the pictures look so much better than theirs....

jalbersmead posted a photo: Unknown bivalve and Moonglow anemone Tons of moonglows out lately. Beautiful colors from this with the red and green center to the oranges and silvers. I'm not convinced they're all moonglow but until I hear otherwise....
