The most important book an american can read...

ah so you think you don't know why your here
but you do if you could only remember
you came here because you needed to be here
don't you remember?

your life here is living at a most regressive state
your born a locust and within the walls of this school
this is a mental institute and opprotunity
this is a insane asylum and a most wonderous gift


this is heaven...from the deeds you do and the love you give
this is hell...for you experience the suffering of others
and your time is the effort you choose for you or for your neighbor
lao tzu had it right in his discovery of wu-wei

free will?
tis nothing but probilities by the actions of interactions
religion?
the guilt of living for the self excluding the thought of your family
you are a spritual being suffering a human life
yet the reward is that it is but less than a blink of your eye


 

now that i am 54
after what i've seen and done
what can i tell you to help you
that hasn't been said before?

i have been to the mountain
i have swam in the seas
in the desert at 3am
i wandered in the rain forest

what have i learned?
we are pixels in a movie
in flux yet always are
what is,was and will be

at this time/space we are kin
beyond forward and aft
who can say since noone has
be humble and silent to be wise

 

i live in a forest full of trees and things
from everywhere i walk i look and listen and i see nothing but trees and things 
and i contemplate how i got here

i woke one morning and i couldn't remember a thought
i couldn't speak  couldn't walk and i was very hungry
a crash landing in an alien land

as i look back i am filled with wonder in awe
after so long i am no different and its still an enigmatic mystery
fools and sages on soapboxes rant and rave

ah, but do you want to live forever?
i do, it seems,but just not here
within this law of the jungle cage

who are you
do i know you
how did you get here
where aree you going
will you like to come along wih me?
