On June 20, 2011 Neilson comes out with the following statement: "Online grocery shopping had a rough start in the 1990s...but Nielsen forecasts it'll be a $25 billion business by 2014." That is only 2.5 years from now. Not very long.
In a recent research study people were asked what things that hated doing the most. The top two answers were: 1. Cleaning the bathroom 2. Grocery shopping
According to the Neilson article a lot of people are solving their #2 problem.
We take a lot for granted, especially in the US. For example: (you have heard these before) * freedom of speech * which church to belong too * go where we want to go and when we want too * eat what we want to and when we want too * so forth and so on You know what I mean. But I doubt if you think much about what is going on behind our lives in order for us to live as we do. I bet that you do not think much about how you are able to visit our nature resources? Do you ever think about why our food is kept safe? What about your rights as a human being?
I could go on and on but the important fact here is that the only way that we can live the way we do is because there are people voicing their opinions about every aspect of our lives. Are they voicing your views? Why not get involved and take a stance about how you feel about events that shape what happens?
I have been journeying around the Care2 site for several hours. First time here. Have signed some petitions and basely just looked around. Will be adding links back to Care2 and certain free click areas to my website and my main blog. Also will be adding links for some petitions.
So far, I have certainly been extremely impressed with Care2 and the petition site. Both are a good suit for my ideas, ideals, and endeavors to bring people to stepup and be heard. One person can make a difference.
