Fishing North Carolina If anyone has been following the disaster of commercial fishing in North Carolina the last three weeks, should be aware of what is going on. there seems to be several sides to this, but in the end only the ecological side suffers as well as the fish population.... greed and politics always destroys and the ramifications of the mistakes are never realized till its to late... so what was all those years of regulations to bring back the Strippers for.... wasted http://www.examiner.com/fish-and-wildlife-policy-in-charlotte/commercial-trawlers-kill-thousands-more-striped-bass-off-the-outer-banks I read that there were 15 - 20 trawlers outside of the inlet yesterday. The photos were taken from a helicopter and there were no other boats in the area...the seas were too rough for smaller boats. Now it looks like people are calling for a total net ban and for the main guy to lose his job. send an email to demand an investigation.
