Dear friends,

The next few days are crucial in preventing the release of GMOs in Europe -- There's an important EU vote on December 4. Greenpeace have an action centre for contacting the politicians that count. I've just been there:

What we need now is to:

1. Encourage the good politicians (those who have already chosen the environment and consumer protection over GMOs) to speak up;

2. Show to the undecided ones that European citizens want them to protect our food, health and environment;

3. Convince the pro-GMO politicians to recognize the risks posed by GMOs.
