There she stood proudly with branches from a tree long dead,

Mother Nature stood defiantly shaking her head,

The sacrifice started without any thought,

Man never started with a devious plot,

They picked at her world little by little,

Starting out at sides they worked to the middle,

They spilled vile chemicals all across her land,

It was simply the work of man,

They worked themselves up in a dance of self pleasure,

Using every part of her for their selfish treasure,

Little by little they left her land bare,

Her sweet waters now polluted, including the air,

Everywhere around her the land was all barren,

The first to go was the great heron,

Planting row after row, till nothing could grow,

They tried more chemicals but what did they know,

Yet man still feasted waiting for the moment to come,

Hoping they got to take the very last one,

They drank the last wine the vines had ceased to grow,

They messed with the weather summer saw snow,

Still thirsty for power they plotted and planned,

They danced and they cheered, to a super big band,

But the mother stood proud her arms held up high,

Their lust was looking at her bare thigh,

Holding the last branches tied at her side,

Her body was naked not wanting to hide,

They claimed to preserve her but killed all in sight,

Then laughed and took joy in it all thru the night,

Her legs long and lovely her hair hung down fine,

Man was killing everything one at a time,

Still groping for power man devoured the land,

Till not even the mighty oak could still stand,

The last bird had fallen from the sky that day,

All other animals had gone the same way,

With the wind dead still she started to sway

Releasing her fury that one fateful day,

The branches she waved back and forth as in a great storm,

But man went about business like it was the norm,

They destroyed everything that she had stood for,

It was time for her body for them to explore,

They sucked at her breast like drilling for oil,

Caressing her skin like it was farming soil,

Starving and tired she was the only thing left,

It was time to defile the womanly cleft,

When they pried her legs open for the last sacrifice,

They found her womb protected by a strange device,

Still smarter and stronger than man will ever be,

She had fashioned a device for her chastity,

Man soon starved and fell until they all died,

Seeds that were scattered on the barren country side,

They started to sprout in soil so bare,

They didn’t grow well but they were still there,

A little patch here a little patch there,

After Melina they would be everywhere,

Small animals that had hidden away,

Were soon to multiply in an encouraging way,

As cells divided all thru the day,

Making new creatures in all different ways,

The skies will filter through plants and the wind,

The water will clean it’s self filtered through sand and the land,

But Mother Nature should learn from mankind,

Not to create a creature that has its own mind,

Keep her animals simple with brains quite small,

Because creating man will bring death to it all,

How can we say we respect international laws when we are so quick to break them? How can we not see that deconflicting with proxies in the area is not walking away, that\\\'s fiction, but working toward a solution that understands that we are not going ...
