Some of these products make my skin crawl. I have changed my mind about the treadmill. But pet parents should not treat their pets like accessories.

I wrote a post that will not make me popular. It's about pet products I hate. One made me cry when I saw it. It's a tiny fish tank/teddy bear that children can carry around. It actually got an award from a major pet blogging association. 

I would like to hear your thoughts on these and other pet products that make you say, "What were they thinking?"

I have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to give an award to this product or what the creator of this product had in mind. It's cruel.

The sea otter has been protected, and their numbers are coming back. Now, a congress person wants to change that. It will endanger the sea otter's existence. We can all stop it if we send the letters to our state reps. The form letter has a link to every state's rep. 

This is only for folks in the U.S., but it you have friends here, please share!
