The Trivani Humanitarian Summit
The Trivani Humanitarian Summit is coming this fall, and it is shaping up to be one of the greatest humanitarian summits ever on American soil.

The Trivani Foundation®, in conjunction with a handful of tremendous humanitarian partners, has put together a lineup of the finest humanitarians on earth, and we are pleased to welcome them to
Utah.

The Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, Mohammad Yunus, and a handful of additional Nobel Peace Prize recipients are scheduled to participate.  It will be a remarkable event, and we are excited to warmly welcome these incredible humanitarians to
Utah
.

We are keeping another amazing guest under wraps for the moment. Just know that this individual is one of the great women leading the charge against global poverty.

You will definitely want to attend the upcoming US Convention in
Salt Lake City
on Oct 9th and 10th. It will be another incredible humanitarian event, and you will not want to miss the opportunity to meet our special humanitarian guests.

The humanitarian process is changing. We are seeing to it. We are leading the movement in the power to turn consumption into compassion, and the biggest, most influential people on the planet are taking notice.

Oxygen Positive Is Coming

I have appreciated the great feedback I have received regarding the incredible environmental initiative Trivani will be officially launching this fall. Oxygen Positive™ is coming, and it will change the way that everyone thinks about the environment.

There has been much discussion about determining our "carbon footprint" and finding ways to offset emissions created by simply living and going about our duties. There are some who believe that the planet is suffering from global warming and some who don't, but that is an argument that takes a back seat to the simple notion that the environment is a gift and our stewardship should be to pass it on in better condition than we received it. After all, it is our posterity that directly benefits (or not) from the choices we make.

The Oxygen Positive initiative (OP) has been designed to tackle one very important task: to go beyond simply "offsetting" our carbon footprints and creating a net positive environmental impact. If you are creating "X" amount of carbon currently, OP will create opportunities to produce "X plus" oxygen to offset your footprint. OP then creates additional opportunities for tremendous carbon dioxide to be eliminated.

The primary source for the power to do this can be found in the Super Trivania Trees that are now being farmed in two locations globally. Can you imagine a tree that creates 10 times the amount of oxygen of a regular, full-grown tree while eliminating 900% more carbon dioxide! It is almost too good to be true.

By simply planting these trees and calculating the oxygen output and co2 neutralization, we can easily determine how many of these trees must be growing in various stages to create a net oxygen positive environment. These trees are fully mature within five years, and they are capable of growing in nearly any environment. (Yes, even our partners in Minnesota and Wisconsin can grow these trees right in their own yards!) They generate a beautiful flower in the spring, and when they reach maturity, they can be harvested at the trunk and will immediately begin to grow back!

We have farms now operating in Australia, and soon, in Brazil. Jason Golly will be in Brazil this week with top government officials to open the facility and begin a major reforestation project in the rain forest. Now that is cool stuff!

Trivani’s Exclusive Oxygen Positive™ Campaign Is Underway in Brazil

If you are a regular reader of Bob’s blog, you already know that Trivani’s philanthropic efforts extend well beyond our world’s neediest children. A healthy environment is one of life’s necessities. And just as each of us is making a difference in the lives of suffering children, we can also have a positive effect on our environment through Trivani’s exclusive Oxygen Positive™ (OP) initiative. OP makes carbon offsets obsolete by endeavoring to place MORE oxygen into the atmosphere than we consume—and this program takes things far beyond carbon neutral.

Our first international OP initiative is the creation of the first ever Trivani forest of Super Trivania Trees in Brazil. Never heard of a Super Trivania Tree? Trivani is fortunate to become the exclusive partner of the Heart Leaf Association, whose Japanese scientists made history by engineering a super tree that could absorb 900% more carbon dioxide and put off nearly 10 times more oxygen than a typical tree.

Jason Golly, Trivani’s U.S. Managing Director, is in Brazil this week to break ground with our partners. Be sure to keep reading Trivani’s communications as we provide updates on this amazing project and countless others on the horizon. Stay tuned!

Open house to introduce public to humanitarian marketing organization

September 20, 2008 6:00 AM
By ANDREW SCOTT

It’s marketing, but with the profits going to a humanitarian cause.

It’s about selling personal, hair and skin care products with harmless ingredients to the public and using the money from those sales to benefit Third World children. That’s the goal of the Trivani Foundation, the Utah-based international organization marketing these products.

Melissa Luddeni of Cresco recently became one of the many volunteer child guardian sponsors Trivani has around the world. Luddeni buys the products from Trivani and markets and sells them, earning money that will go to providing food, clothing and other needs for the children.

Luddeni is hosting an open house Tuesday, 3 to 8:30 p.m., at the Pocono Mountain firehouse off Route 611, just north of Route 940, in Mount Pocono. The public will have the chance to learn more about what Trivani is, how it works and how to become a child guardian sponsor.

“A woman approached me less than a year ago and told me about the organization,” said Luddeni, a massage therapist and Sanofi Pasteur employee with her own prior marketing experience. “I researched, found out more and was impressed.

“I was like, ‘OK, this helps kids,’ and to me that’s a big deal,” she said. “The work this organization does really hits home with me.”

As a child guardian sponsor, Luddeni each month buys about $100 worth of products, such as shave lotion, shampoo and facial cleanser, manufactured by Trivani. These products use no harmful ingredients, such as aluminum, artifical colorants or mineral oil, according to one of Trivani’s Web sites.

The money from Luddeni’s monthly purchases goes toward helping children, as does the money she earns from selling the products in the community. Prices range from $6.75 for a shower bar ($7.50 in stores) to $36 for day protection serum for the skin ($39.95 in stores), according to the Web site.

“Think of it as switching where you shop and doing it for a good cause,” Luddeni said.

More information about Trivani can be found at http://www.mytrivani.com/melissaluddeni/ or www.trivanifoundation.org/. With limited space at the firehouse, invitation to Tuesday’s event is RSVP-only through calling (570) 350-6129.

This is a contest I am running with my clients but because I believe in the company, the products and the purpose so much I felt I needed to share this with everyone.  Below is what I sent out to my clients.

You know I am a Child Guardian Sponsor with Trivani International.  Many of you are enjoying the "no harm" products and continue to order more from me.  I am asking you to please help me spread the word to continue helping the sponsored children we have.
To do this I am running a contest for the month of July.  This is a two tiered contest.

Part one:

  • Send my link http://www.mytrivani.com/melissaluddeni to your friends and family.
  • Ask them to go out to check out the site
  • Ask them to send me an e-mail at humantouchwellness@hotmail.com with Trivani Contest in the subject title.
  • In the body of the e-mail have them put the following:
    • Their name
    • Their phone number
    • Their e-mail addy
    • The person whe refered them to the site.

Your name will go into a drawing for the Personal Care Pack ($69.50 value) for each person you send.  Don't forget to send one for yourself also as it will also count.

The Trivani Personal Care Pack includes all you need to enhance your shower and cleanliness regimen. This pack includes the following Trivani products:

  •
    • Nourishing Shampoo
    • Nourishing Conditioner
    • Hair Spray
    • Shower Gel
    • Shower Bar

Part Two:

  • Follow the instructions for part one and if anyone you send to the site signs up as a Child sponsor guardian you will automatically receive the Personal Care Pack.

What better way to help a child and than for someone to start their own Trivani business.  This business is currently on the ground floor which means there is no where to go but up.  On a humanitarian note keep in mind:

  • Every 2.5 seconds a child does not make it.
  • 2.7 Billion live on less than $2.00 a day
  • 1 Billion live on less than $1.00 a day

We can help put a stop to this!

Should you have any questions please e-mail me at humantouchwellness@hotmail.com or call me at 570-350-6129.

Thank you!  Enjoy the website.

Are Product Fragrances Really Harmful to Your Health?

A recent news article discusses the answer to this question and encourages consumers to speak out against stricter labeling laws for harmful fragrances. It’s an interesting article. Check it out here, keeping in mind that Trivani works to avoid all potentially harmful ingredients, including fragrances, in every product we produce.

Recent Study on Potentially Harmful Ingredients

Women's Voice for the Earth (WVE), an environmental health and justice organization, recently published a press release detailing an interesting study on harmful ingredients and whether or not they remain in the body over time. Of the 35 participants involved in the study, every individual had at least 7 of the 20 chemicals the study tested for.  After you read the article, you might consider browsing the rest of the WVE website. This website is packed full of reports and information on the most common and dangerous harmful ingredients and what people around the world are doing to eradicate them from our products.
