Kat's Sharebook 

After a long year of traveling, my husband and I are finally back home! We've been home for a couple of days now, and I still can't believe we are actually here to stay lol. It is so wonderful, I can't even begin to put my emotions into words. I love my friends and family so much, and it was extremely hard being away from all of them for a whole year. I can't remember if I mentioned it on here or not, but my husband and I took a job in August of 2010 that had us traveling the country for a year. It was a great experience, and my favorite High Sierra backpack held up amazingly well, but it was definitely a hard to be away from home for so long. Anyway, now that we are back we are staying with my parents for a few weeks until we can buy a home. We have our eye on one in Ohio that seems perfect, but we are trying hard not to get attached to it just in case it doesn't work out. Our friends live right next door to it, so that's the main reason we want to live there so badly. Speaking of friends, It's been really fun catching up with all of them and our family. My mom told me all about the new organic kick that she's on. She bought this for the dogs, and she said it has totally helped their health. She also bought baby organic bedding for her grandchildren's nursery in my sister's old bedroom. She is really excited obviously lol. I'm just glad she like organic things as much as I do now.

Hello everyone on Care2!  My name is Kat and I am new to this whole "living green" life and I thought I would share some of my thoughts about it on a blog on here.  I've never really cared much about the environment before, but mostly because I was too concerned with myself.  As I have gotten older I have learned that life is not about me, which has been an amazing discovery that has completely changed my life.  

My passion in life is writing and I try to do it as often as possible.  It is actually the main reason I started this blog lol.  I also love to read and take pictures.  My favorite pictures to take are artisitc landscape photos.  The earth is so beautiful, isn't it?!  My husband and I love to collect these on our travels and we have quite the collection.  It works out because we both love to drink coffee as well .  Right now I am reading a book called Halo by Alexandra Adornetto and it is wonderful!  I highly suggest it to anyone who loves reading YA novels.  That is all I have for now.  Until next time, stay green!
