Mandela Day takes place every year on July 18th, Madiba's birthday. This day is a call to action for people everywhere to take responsibility for making the world a better place, one small step at a time, just as Madiba did.

Madiba spent more than 67 years serving his community, his country and the world at large. On this day, people are encouraged to devote just 67 minutes of their time to changing the world for the better, in a small gesture of solidarity with humanity, and in a small step towards a continuous, global movement for good.

Happy 95th Birthday, Nelson Mandela!!

Tunaweza Foundation is a non profit organization, which is a fully registered
Non Governmental Organisation. It is located in Nairobi, Kenya.

We endeavour to finance the post primary education of bright and deserving students hence according them equal opportunity like any other main stream children in the community.

Education is a life time cash crop and self sustaining in its own nature, education is power to those who embrace it hence we wish these destitute children could get access to education.

Twenty eight years ago, Bosco Mutegi Kiura was born in a village called Gatoori, in Embu, Kenya. Growing up, he got to understand an education was the best mean to achieve his personal goals. During Primary School, he found himself walking to school barefoot, but that did not seem to be a problem, his motivation was stronger than the difficulties he had to face.

After nine years of primary school, he joined St. Pauls High School Kevote where he had challenges in paying the school fees but managed to successfully apply to university. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Finance at the Kenya Methodist University and later pursued a Masters Degree, also in Finance, at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology thanks to a scholarship offered by an Italian family. The Italian family has been giving money to help needy but deserving children from developing countries like Kenya get access to education since 2006.

After benefiting from this program, initiated and funded by the Italian family, we believe that it would be unfair for us not to think of ways in which we can contribute to other bright children, who deserve such opportunities as offered by generous people like this family from all over the world. This is why the Tenaweza Foundation endeavours to transform lives and help poor bright and worthy students through education. It is our hope that we will impact on lives and livelihoods in our community.

Our program hopes to distribute books, pens, and other necessary stationary for students, as well as providing sanitary pads, and building latrines for local schools. Currently the program is only funded by a certain percentage of the Founder's salary and donations from well wishers. We seek to engage the government, the general public, and other selfless persons who go out of their way to make a difference in the lives of others.

Our vision is to transform the lives of resource poor, bright and deserving students through education.

Xaveri South Africa is a non-formal educational youth movement which plays a complementary role to that of other educational institutes; with a purpose of contributing to the development of African young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

We are always looking for dedicated and talented youth, who have love for humanity, are educated, experienced, and passionate about youth development and are ready to embrace cultural differences.

Xaveri volunteer program provides avenues for young people to invest their skills, minds, and hearts in support of local communities. Volunteers have the power to increase public awareness about the issues facing young people. Most importantly, the skills and time volunteers contribute allow Xaveri to free up it's resources to better meet the needs of boys and girls who we serve.

By volunteering with Xaveri, you have the opportunity to gain personal growth and a sense of purpose in knowing you are touching the lives of the needy around within the communities. Every task, no matter how small, has a significant beneficial effect on the bigger picture of changing lives.

We invite you to contact us and tell us a little about yourself, your experiences, education, and directional drive. Come and share with us your knowledge, while learning from some of our projects that we offer. We look forward to welcoming you to our project with new diverse talent!

No donation is ever too small. Thank you for your care and willingness to make a donation to the work of Xaveri Movement South Africa. We sincerely appreciate your donation! (www.xaveri.org) Thank you kindly for your time and consideration.
