I am a son of God and do not have to prove all over again to any man by saying I need to see the Lord to be the son of the Father as some say. Once you have accepted Jesus into your life as your personal savior, at that moment, you become a son of God the Father.

Jesus preached the Sermon OnThe Mount starting with Matt. 5:3 and finishes with Matt.7:27 Someone quoted Matt.5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'

44        But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45        that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

The key point was in verse 45 that you may be sons of your Father in Heaven;

The rest of the verse gives insight as to what was meant by that statement. “and sends rain on the just and on the unjust”. To believe that this is what you have to do to be a son of God exclusively is ridiculous. The verses that follow are meant to show a one on one relationship with Jesus Christ and how one is saved and receives eternal life. It is not a corporate experience. You are not saved by the works of keeping the Law. That makes it corporate and a false doctrine.

The Apostle Paul tells us what we are commanded to do in Romans.

Romans 10: 9          that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

And by what process do we receive this hope of salvation? Read what the Apostle Peter says and again what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15.

1 Peter 1: 3   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Corinthians 15: 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,

2          by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you --- unless you believed in vain.

3          For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

4          and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

The Apostle John adds to this teaching.

John 5: 24     "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

1 John 5: 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

John 20: 31  but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

John 5:39        You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

John 3: 15     that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

The Apostle Paul sums it up very plainly that eternal life is a gift of God.

Romans 1: 13          For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."

Romans 6: 23          For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is nothing more dear, intimate, or important than being sanctified by Christ living in you.

Romans 8: 9   But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

10        And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11        But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

How much more plain can it be. Our righteousness before Christ as God says in Isaiah 64: 6 “But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;”.

Here is that great mystery revealed, that Jesus Christ dwells in you and you in Him and it is His Spirit, His faith, and His righteousness dwelling in you that makes you a son of the Father in heaven.

I pray that if you have not allowed Christ into your life, please do so now!

Confess to Him that you have sinned and come short of the glory of God and want  Jesus living in you now and you will receive the Holy Spirit and become a son of God.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Your citizenship is now in heaven above all the earth. God bless you!

Chapter 24 of Matthew describes the second coming of Jesus Christ. It is rather brief and to the point. Never is there mention of a third secrete coming. These scriptures are by no means the only ones describing the second coming. His second coming is mentioned in Job, Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, 1Corinthians, 1&2 Thessalonians, 2 Peter, and Revelations to name a few. But there is only the mention of the second coming, no third secrete coming.

Matthew 24:26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it.

27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,'

49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,

50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,

51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Verses 45-51 do not indicate a secret coming of Christ such as the rapture. As a matter of fact, rapture is not in the Bible anywhere. Verse 36 says no one knows what day or hour and verse 26 tells us what it will be like when Jesus Christ does return. Having brought this information to light, it doesn’t matter what the verses say to someone who believes in the rapture. Their claim is that Jesus returns secretly a third time and that is all it is, a claim. I feel sad that people put so much faith in the rapture rather than the resurrection of hope. 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. One Sunday as I was teaching a senior Sunday School class, a long time member yelled out that he had the rapture and didn’t need anything else. That is what happens when one follows the traditions of men.

Note that the subject of the rapture is a non subject for Christians prior to the 1800’s. Interesting that it is such a recent new doctrine. The question of where it came from is very confusing when you research it. There are so many claims of who did what and how it started, that in itself is suspect. But, there is no reference in all the religious writings of the famous theologians, down through the ages, to the rapture.

Let the Holy Spirit give you understanding of what the Bible teaches.

John 14: 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

That is also my prayer for you. Amen!

You want to know what is wrong with America? Just read the following press briefing. I copied this from the official White House web site. A reporter asked some very pointed questions and was practically laughed out of the room. What could be more disgusting? Our Senate voted on and approved this. Can our government sink any lower? What do you think? Do you want America run by people like this? What does God say about it?

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;

The White House

Office of the Press Secretary

For Immediate Release

December 05, 2011

Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jay Carney, 12/5/11

James S. Brady Press Briefing Room

2:18 P.M. EST

Q    The Family Research Council and CNS News both reported a 93-to-7 U.S. Senate vote to approve a defense authorization bill that, quote, “includes a provision which not only repeals the military law on sodomy, but also repeals the military ban on sex with animals, or beastiality.”  Does the Commander-in-Chief approve or disapprove of beastiality in our armed forces?

MR. CARNEY:  I don't have any comment on -- I don't have any comment on that.

Let me go to another question.

Q    Does the President believe this will be approved by all animal support groups, such as --

MR. CARNEY:  Let’s get to something more serious.  Yes, Jake.

Q    You sure you don't want to ask Lester another question?  Give him another opportunity?  (Laughter.)

MR. CARNEY:  I’ve learned my lesson, Jake.  (Laughter.)

        Q    Just one --

MR. CARNEY:  Lester, I think we’ll -- we’ll let everybody get a chance here.

        Go ahead, Jake.

Q    Are you sure you don't want to take any more questions on beastiality?  (Laughter.)

Q    You don't want to comment on that?

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Mr. Carney, the Senate and any others who mock God will find it is not a wise thing to do.

ACTS 2:38 ...“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
