Hi ,

I had heard a lot about a really good recovery app for your phone called Recovery Record. I recently got a new phone and was able to install the app today. And.....I love it. I think it will be really helpful. Has anyone else tried it or is using it?

Hi everyone,

I ended going into treatment and I just got back about a month ago. I am doing really well now. I try to remember to just take things one day at a time and that seems to help. I plan to be more active with this group. I hope everyone has a great day.:

Hey all,

I am looking to get into a residential treatment center for my eating disorder hopefully in the next few weeks. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!

Hello all,

Here is one of my favorite recent affirmations: "Life doesn't start 10 pounds from now, it has already started. I can choose to include myself in it."

Hope everyone is ahving a pleasant evening

Well my current therapist who is amazing is going on maternity leave in about six weeks as she is having a baby. So I met with a potential new therapist today and I really liked her. Meeting with the new therapist will be temporary as I am planning on continuing with my current therapist once she comes back from maternity leave in August. I was so nervous to meet the new therapist today and am so glad it went well. I think she can help me continue to heal

Well the NEDA walk was a lot of fun. I went with a great group of women who are fast becoming good friends. I am hoping to volunteer locallly with NEDA to help raise awareness and education about eating disorders. There are far to many men and women suffering.

I did something on Saturday that I had not done in a long time. I got on the scale to see what I weighed. Big mistake. I then beat myself up for geting on in the first place. After talking with my nutritonist I am learning to look at it differently. To ask myself what I learned from getting on? Basically it just causes me more torment right now to know what I weigh. So I am not going to weigh myself.

There is a quote I got off another website that I really like, it is: "Life doesn't start 10 pounds from now, it has already started. I can choose to include myself in it."

Tomorrow I will be participating in the Neda Walk to raise money for those suffering with an eating disorder. I am super excited. I also have entered a recovery painting I did in the silent auction which will be held during the Neda walk. This will also raise money for those still suffering from an eating disorder.

Also I was wondering what you the reader would like to see in a blog about recovering from an eating disorder?
