The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band is the first openly gay music organization ever, named the "official band of the City of San Francisco", inspiring the formation of lesbian and gay bands, choruses and performing troupes around the world. Founded in 1978 by Jon Sims at the height of Anita Bryant’s anti-gay crusade, the Band debuted marching ahead of Supervisor Harvey Milk’s convertible in the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade. The Band has been making music to build understanding between gay and non-gay communities for 30 years! Its Dance-Along Nutcracker,a Bay Area holiday tradition, takes place every December at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Tutu rentals and fairy wands are available for those with nothing to wear!

In 1994, he was selected to participate in the Leonard Bernstein American Conductors Program. He was the first prize winner of the 1980 Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Young Conductors Competition and a prize winner of the 1987 Leopold Stokowski Competition. Bomer, her son, grew up near Michael Jackson's 'Neverland Ranch' in Santa Barbara & began channeling 'Methamphetamine Angels' through Sharron's pen, shortly after she found him dead in the backyard of his mansion. Bomer's lover had just won the 67 million dollar lotto and baught him the house. In 'Methamphetamine Angels', Bomer talks about the beauty of life on the other side; offering readers whose lives have been affected by the death of children due to overdose; greater understanding, unconditional love and peace. Bomer was in a rock band whose members have all lost their lives to overdoes and suicides. The name of the band was; "RICH KIDS ON LSD"
