Hey, all my fellow Illinois dwellers!  Guess what's going on this weekend at Starved Rock?The Audubon Society is hosting Eagle Weekend!  This is an amazing event.  My family has been attending since 2010 when we first found out about it.

The World Bird Sanctuary has their Raptor presentation this year, and there's also the Birds Of Prey presentation at the Lock and Dam Visitors Center.  There are tons of other activities on both sides of the river, and high-powered viewing scopes set up all over the place.

Bring your bincoulars, camera, and a thermos of cocoa and get your butts out there!  You will not regret it!
