Yesterday, our precious cat, Peanut got outside the house without any of us knowing. She is not accustomed to being outdoors because we keep our cats inside. Peanut was a delicate, fluffy, little girl that slept with me every night. She would curl up in my arms like a baby.

My husband and have rescued many animals in our 28 years together. Our family now is made up of 8 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses, 2 goats, and 1 house rabbit. We love and treat our animals like they are our children.

Obviously, due to time, this is not our first loss of a dear one. Each time we lose one of our precious children, we lose part of ourselves.

The loss of Peanut is extra hard for the both of us.

Our hearts are broken and we feel empty and lost. Please keep all of us in your hearts and prayers. Thank you and God bless you.

Peace.
