Many consumers trust Johnson's Baby Shampoo as a safe product to use on their children, due to the iconic "No More Tears" label and classic tagline, "As Gentle to the Eyes as Pure Water." Despite their innocuous packaging, Johnson & Johnson continues to use two potentially carcinogenic chemicals -- dioxane and quaternium-15 -- in baby shampoo sold in the U.S. and several other countries.

Johnson & Johnson currently sells versions of shampoo without these chemicals, but their main shampoo continues to include dioxane and quaternium-15. The company plans to eventually phase out the chemicals, but their timeline for doing so is unclear. According to Lisa Archer, director of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, "Johnson & Johnson clearly can make safer baby shampoo in all the markets around the world, but it's not doing it."

There is no reason to include carcinogenic chemicals in shampoo, especially products used on babies and young children. Please sign the petition to convince Johnson & Johnson to remove carcinogens from their baby shampoo.
