THE NEWS OF THE DAY IS QUITE UPSETTING. 
THAT IS SUCH A FLIMSY WORD, ISN'T IT? 
UPSETTING?  DEVASTATING?  HORRIBLE? 
WHAT CAN WE SAY ABOUT THE YOUNG MEN WHO HAVE COMMITTED THESE HEINOUS CRIMES? 
  I DONT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS.  I FEEL SO NAIVE'. 

AT 67, AND THE GRANDMOTHER OF 5 GRANDSONS..
TWO, ALMOST THE SAME AGES OF THESE BOMBING SUSPECTS! ....MY HEART IS BROKEN...MY THOUGHTS ARE CLOUDY..MY FAITH TELLS ME TO PRAY... MY WORDS ARE POINTED TOWARD HEAVEN AND A SOLUTION TO AQUIRING PEACE ON EARTH. 

Texas college stabbing   I am watching a Breaking News Feature on one of my Local Channels.  Hard to even imagine, how and why one young person can physically attack another.  Not to mention 12 others.  This Lone Star Campus, is a small Campus,of local students.  So horrible, I am just devastated.  I have grandsons in Colleges, throughout the area.  I couldn't imagine, the parents' reactions to this news about their children.

I'm new at this, and this first post may leave a lot to be desired.  I will try to get the hang of sharing things that I like;  need;  do;  have a Passion for, and hope to give a little of something for all to discuss and/or just plain enjoy.

I AM LOOKING TO FIND A CHINESE CRESTED DOG.  I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN TEXAS, NEAR HOUSTON.  I AM 65, AND WANT TO HAVE A COMPANION TO SHARE IN MY RETIREMENT.  I LIVE IN A PARK PRESERVE, BUT, DON'T SPEND A LOT OF TIME OUTDOORS.  I LIKE GARDENING, SO, I'D LOVE TO HAVE A SMALL PET, THAT CAN PLAY OUTSIDE FOR SHORT PERIODS ONLY, AS THE SUN BOTHERS MY SKIN, AS IT WOULD DO TO HIS OR HERS.I AM CHECKING INTO  RESCUE SHELTERS.  I SAW THE GROUP ON CARE2, SO, WANT TO LEARN AS MUCH MORE AS I CAN, ABOUT THESE VERY SPECIAL PETS.

March 2013.  Just realizing that it's almost been a year that I've adopted my two precious Rescues.  Bella and Chetta.  Mama and Daughter.  Sweetest dogs ever.!
