START A PETITION

Apr 27, 2008

So, it’s my first blog, and the efforts are starting out quite slow. As an 18 year-old in high school, i’m aware that there isn’t much that I can accomplish at this current time. However, college is coming up in four months, and i’m hoping that things can pick-up from there.

Earth Day was a few days ago, and to help save the planet, my first goal was to help plant trees, but unfortunately, you couldn’t buy baby trees anywhere. It was disappointing. But, to make up for it, I purchased energy efficient light bulbs, they are a bit bright, but i’ve gotten used to them. I also rode my bike around instead of driving, it kinda hurt my butt, but it was worth it.

Also, I started my first petition. So far, I have received 44 signatures but I still have a lot more to go.
