Name: Captain Paul Watson
Type: Tribute (for the living)
To Honor: Individual(s)
Location: , Australia
Please join the Founders and Members of Whale Call, Inc. as we prepare to honor Captain Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Crew Members of the Farley Mowat for their wonderful service in the protection and conservation of the whales and marine animals in our vast oceans.

The Sea Shepherd's ship the Farley Mowat hindered the Japanese whaling ships in the Antartic these past months to prevent the needless slaughter of the whales.

This weekend, Whale Call Founders and Board Members Boris Branwhite, Tony Fields, Rick Caldwell and Debs Raymond will be presenting an Award of Appreciation to Captain Watson in person at a meeting in Australia.

Captain Watson has been quoted thusly:
“I have been honored to serve the whales, dolphins, seals – and all the other creatures on this Earth. Their beauty, intelligence, strength, and spirit have inspired me. These beings have spoken to me, touched me, and I have been rewarded by friendship with many members of different species.

If the whales survive and flourish, if the seals continue to live and give birth, and if I can contribute to ensuring their future prosperity, I will be forever happy.”

- Paul Watson
