Network Analyst
Seattle, WA

Summary: The Network Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and daily operation of the enterprise infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, overall network security, IP addressing scheme, remote access systems, cabling, IP telephony, wireless network, radius authentication, etc. The Network Analyst is also responsible for supporting projects and resolving Level 3 service tickets.
  Responsibilities:           Daily operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the enterprise network and network-related systems, such as DHCP servers, proxy servers, authentication servers, IP telephony servers, firewalls, DNS servers, remote access systems, LAN connectivity devices, etc.           Support resolution of Level 3 service tickets, as needed, in a timely manner.           Responsible for the installation and maintenance of WAN circuits (e.g. T-1, OC-3, frame relay).           Responsible for the IP Telephony infrastructure, including unified messaging components.           Provide project support in the timely completion of Network Services projects, milestone dates, commitments, deliverables, etc.           Provide hands-on configuration, installation, and maintenance of the enterprise infrastructure, network security, and servers.           Provide technical leadership as related to the enterprise infrastructure, network security, and servers.           Provide technical oversight and direction to Foundation vendors and consultants, as needed.           Assist in the development of Information Technology policies and procedures.           Adhere to Information Technology policies and procedures.           On-call duty on a rotational basis.           Some infrequent travel may be required for this position.           Other duties and tasks, as assigned. Qualifications:           5+ years of relevant IT experience in enterprise networking.           Very strong knowledge of enterprise networking (wired and wireless), network security, switch configurations, router configurations, VPN configurations, firewall configurations, IP telephony, and network protocols at all layers of the OSI model.           Extensive experience with the Cisco product line is required. CCNA required. CCNP preferred.           In-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop & server operating systems networking components.           In-depth knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications as they relate to and interact with the enterprise network.           Experience with networks supporting video teleconferencing           The ability to support multiple projects and issues.           Strong interpersonal, customer relationship, and customer support skills. Reports to: Network Services Supervisor

System Administrator Seattle, WA

Summary: The System Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and daily operation of the Foundation’s Windows servers, SQL servers, Exchange servers, operating system deployment, server virtualization, storage area network configuration, and other server environments. The System Administrator is also responsible for supporting projects and resolving Level 3 service tickets.
  Responsibilities:           Implementation, daily operation & administration, of anti-virus, backup, security patches, and troubleshooting of all Windows servers, SQL servers, Exchange servers, and the EMC storage area network.           Daily operations, design, and support of a virtualized development environment, including server builds and environment scheduling.           Daily operations and configuration of the keyboard, mouse, video (KVM) switching infrastructure.           Support resolution of Level 3 service tickets, as needed, in a timely manner.           Provide project support in the timely completion of Network Services projects, milestone dates, commitments, deliverables, etc.           Provide hands-on configuration, installation, maintenance, and backup of all servers and system data.           Provide technical leadership as related to Windows Servers, SQL, and EMC environments.           Provide technical oversight to Foundation vendors and consultants, as needed.           Assist in the development of Information Technology policies and procedures.           Adhere to Information Technology policies and procedures.           On-call duty on a rotational basis.           Some infrequent travel may be required for this position.           Other duties and tasks, as assigned. Qualifications:           5+ years of relevant IT experience in WINDOWS 2000/2003, SQL, and Exchange servers.           In-depth knowledge of Windows server, Active Directory, DNS, etc.           Strong knowledge of Exchange, Microsoft Operations Manager, Microsoft Systems Management Server, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, and backup systems.           Experience with software and hardware virtualization.           MCSE strongly desired.           The ability to support multiple projects and issues.           In-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.           In-depth knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications.           Strong interpersonal, customer relationship, and customer support skills. Reports to: Network Services Supervisor To whom much has been given, much is expected.
