Each year, hundreds of thousands of defenseless and trusting dogs %u2013 many of them stolen pets 2013 are rounded up in the Philippines and slaughtered for the illegal dog meat trade. What was once an infrequently practiced tradition has now become a profit driven industry responsible for the appalling suffering and deaths of up to 500,000 animals every year.

Could you sit back and watch while defenceless dogs are bound and gagged and left to suffocate? While they are piled on top of each other and driven to a pitiful fate?

These poor wretched creatures cannot fight back against the cruel Philippine traders who tie their mouths and bind their limbs and leave them to a slow and painful death.
