Well, first, I just want to say this blog is not just for or about indigos. I am very drawn to this information as me and my husband have indigo and crystal children, and are empaths ourselves. 2 are diagnosed in the autism spectrum / add as well. One is a pure crystal, 2 are mixed crystal and indigo, and one very much indigo but also very sweet.
What has worked to help us and ours may or may not apply to you and yours. I write this as a sharing of information only and if I say something like the gluten free diet has helped us and 2 of our sons, that does not mean I am telling you you need to try it. Listen to your own inner feelings and get medical advice if you feel you may need to. For me personally I would likely still be very sick or dead if I did not look into these things for myself and family, and could have prevented myself years of sickness had I done it sooner.
The information for indigo and crystal children, as well as rainbow, starseeds and other terms also applys to many of those with a diagnosis of ADD, ADHD, Autism, PDD, Aspergers, and other "disorders" popping up all over the place. One in 150 is now diagnosed with autism, up to less than one in 100 in New Jersey. What is going on?
After reading Steven Speilberg is an Aspie, and many other brilliant minds fall into the catagory, does not mean I seek my PDD kids to be "fixed." I was odd myself when young, a selective mute until in my 20's. I started to become very ill in my late teens, and have been back and forth to so many doctors in the last 20 years enough to be called a hypochondriac by some. I was down to 108 lbs (am 5'8") and have had different immune things go on, enough for one doctor to suggest I had HIV/AIDS. I have worked as a home nurse for HIV patients, and did have similar problems, such as morning sickness, and inability to take toothpaste and such. Around the same time, I saw one of my old patiens who had AIDS still alive, and healther than me. She never took AZT and was very intuitive to what she would take, and what pills she would not, and smoked weed. Well, I am not about to smoke it now, but I was able to stop my medicine as well, and with a gluten free diet, and eating many raw and organic foods, am pretty healthy again.
I discovered I was gluten intolerant by reading first how it helped autistics, then those with chronic fatigue, and deciding to give it a try. I was no longer fatigued or anxious. As unless you have celiac, a blood test will not reveal you are gluten intolerant, one doctor told me I was fine and could eat it. If I was a doctor and did not know me, I may have said the same thing, as doctors are not nutritionists and all do not have extensive training in allergies. Refusing to listen to others and following my own intuition, I went further to a holistic physician and had a gene and stool test done on myself, then my children. I in fact am gluten intolerant, and 2 sons are, one who is autistic (he has the celiac gene as well), one who had a speech delay at 3, but now at 5 is caught up and does not qualify for services. My other son who had PDD-NOS does have genes where he may become intolerant, but is fine with it for now. He is allergic to sulfa drugs though, and also very sensitive to sulfates, corn syrup and food additives. They are all very brillant.
In reading about indigos and crystals, nutrition, holistic health, and ascension diets, I feel there is a whole mind body connection that is overlooked, and toxins in our environment, toxins in vaccines (which can damage mitochondria and trigger illness), food additives, etc - these things can not only cause illness, but are in a way, clouding brilliant minds. There is a genius in everyone, (neurotypicals as well), as well as a beautiful energy that need not unnecessarily be lowered or dulled by un-necessary pollutants. The government is slowly working to make things safer, such as beginning to remove thimerisol/mercury from vaccines, and other things, but is that enough? It is up to every one of us to decide.
FYI. If you care about this issue and our kids future please keep this going, add you name and or opinion to the bottom if you would like.

SENATOR OBAMA DISAPPOINTS RALLYING PARENTS OUTSIDE DNC FUNDRAISER –
“I’M NOT FOR SELECTIVE VACCINATION”
Middletown , NJ - Democratic Presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) said at a Democratic fundraiser on Friday evening, September 5th that parents should not be given the right to decide which vaccines should be administered to their children.
Obama and Governor Corzine (D-NJ) attended a pair of Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraisers last Friday evening held at private residences in Middletown , New Jersey . The first was a cocktail reception at the home of DNC Finance Chairman Phil Murphy to begin at 5:00 pm.
Just two houses away, parents started gathering at the home of Louise and Ron Habakus, the parents of two vaccine-injured children. Ms. Habakus is a vocal supporter for federal vaccine reform and vaccination choice in New Jersey . She lectures on vaccine safety and parent choices across New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice. www.njvaccinationchoice.org
In response to an e-mail received one day prior to the event, over one hundred people were planning to gather to send a bipartisan message to the politicians whose motorcade would be passing in front of the Habakus residence to and from the event. “The need for vaccine reform is an urgent, party-neutral issue that deeply concerns a great number of American parents. Parents do not see the science supporting this dramatic rise in the number of shots over the past twenty-five years, ” says Habakus.
Obama and Corzine arrived separately. Each waved to the supporters but did not stop. They appeared to be running over an hour behind schedule. In response, adults and children alike held up signs and stood next to banners saying Forced Vaccination: Only in America, 1:94 NJ Kids Autistic But Fully Vaccinated, Vax Choice: Moms Know Best.
One of the rallying parents, Claudine Liss, Esq. of Little Falls, New Jersey , attended the DNC reception with the express purpose to speak with Senator Obama. And she succeeded. As he reached out to shake her hand, Ms. Liss said, “Senator Obama, those people rallying outside are with me. And we want to know if you will reform federal vaccine policy. Will you come out to speak with us?”
His immediate and direct reply stunned Ms. Liss: “I am not for selective vaccination. I believe it will bring back deadly diseases like polio.” He continued by affirming a commitment to fund more science if required. Not relinquishing his hand, Ms. Liss leaned in and whispered, “Senator, do you see our European friends behind you? They enjoy substantially greater vaccine freedoms in their country and deadly diseases have not returned.” He did not specifically respond to the comment but assured Ms. Liss that he would personally read the package she had provided.
Parents described their confusion about unanswered questions and troubling contradictions:
“Doesn’t he believe the parents? Thousands have seen their children slip away before their eyes and they blame vaccines.”
As Senator Obama waved again on his way to the second fundraising event, parents expressed deep disappointment that he could not walk thirty feet across the lawn to say hello.
Outside the Habakus front lawn, however, Governor Corzine was stepping out of his car. “How are you all doing? I’m listening and I’m going to study, ok? I understand that there’s a lot of debate on this issue.”
Corzine complimented the parents on the peaceful event, saying that it made a particular impression on him because they were expressing their views in a responsible and thoughtful way. He offered a meeting with his Commissioner of Health, Heather Howard saying, “We did homework on this and I’m taking the advice of people I trust.”
Ms. Habakus asked the Governor to personally investigate this issue. She says, “The issues are admittedly complex. But they are not beyond the capacity of a man who ran one of the most successful investment companies in history. Our children are sicker than ever and the weight of the evidence demands caution. Surely the Governor is equal to the task. For New Jersey residents will evaluate Corzine’s legacy by the personal courage underlying the decisions he made, not by the people to whom he delegated.”
Ms. Habakus confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that a meeting is currently scheduled with Commissioner Howard.
“Phones are ringing off the hook in all fifty states. Governor Corzine admitted that this issue gets more phone calls and letters in New Jersey than any other issue except tolls. Parents are equally eager to hear a statement from Republican presidential candidate John McCain,” says Ms. Habakus.
ADD YOUR OPINION AND PASS IT ON IF THIS IS IMPORTANT TO YOU:
1. After reading this I wonder if Obama campaign contributors include a big sum from the pharmaceutical companies or is Obama just not educated on this issue, or if he is genuinely worried people will refuse all vaccines without any education on it? A majority of the press is also seeming to show many weak man straw man arguments such as parents who do not or no longer vaccinate and make them look negligent. If my child reacted as severely as theirs immediately after a vaccination I do not think I would want to subject them to more injury either.
In the 1970's, the CDC and the AAP American Academy of Pediatrics said children should get 23 doses of 7 vaccines by age 6. The first vaccinations were given at 2 months old. Today the CDC and AAP tell doctors to give children 48 doses of 14 vaccines by age 6, the first vaccination is given the fist day. At age 2 months, a baby can receive 8 vaccines on a single day. At age 15-18 months, a child can receive 12 vaccines on a single day. Follow the money. In 1970 1 in 2500 developed autism, today the average is 1 in 150, and 1 in 96 in NJ. This is not to mention the rest of the toxic soup people need to be educated about to avoid in food and the environment. It can not be just mindless television causing the dumbing down of America. The Japanese besides having longer and stricter education also spreads out vaccines and has much less than the US.
It has become rather well known that when Japan raised its minimum vaccination age to two years in 1975 the overall infant mortality rate improved to become the best in the world. The total for most children is 20 injections in the first two years of life in the USA and only 9 injections in the first two years in Japan.
I have 2 sons in the Autism spectrum who regressed around the time of MMR, though I do not feel personally if one exact thing could have caused their autism in retrospect. I also have a 3rd son who reacted to Thimerisol, not sleeping or eating well from the day of the shot, and had a speech delay (which a year of speech and dietary intervention helped him recover.) At this time my sons all have had vaccines and I am not currently against a reasonable amount of vaccines, and would like to see a reduction in the US to similar to what Japan is doing.
DOUBT In the many time of living and surviving on Earth Lightworkers have felt and knownthat they have skills that assist them and others.Over many lifetimes the fundamental truth of life whs of doing and being who theywere at that time.In doing this there are many memories that are retained in our DNA and our SOUL thatbring us down all the time.DOUBT is stored in the Etheric Membrane of the Celestial Spiritual DNA CODePath....this is where our fears are stored also...A lot of big words and complex knowings all in one sentance. But what is says is that DOUBT and FEARS are in our spiritual body and therefore themore we work on our selves the more we are delving into this realm of ourselves.WE always realise that to remain positive is to bring your self into resolution, nomatter the trouble you are in.Therefore when you go into DOUBT you activate this DNA coding and in doing so youallow the "DARK" negative residue to engulf your self and down you go.Resolution and solution is in the realising that DOUBT is bring you down andSTOPPING you to be your LIGHT and vegating your life....Opportunity to be the LIGHT and strength of yourself is in the seeking to be thePower of yourself to release this coding and bring back your Power.More words..but in these words are the codes to release and detatch the codings andrealign your soul and spiritual bodies...There is always a simple solutions to issues and to do this frequently is the answer..It takes 25 times of repeating the pattern of remembering that DOUBT destroys....itis in the remembering your thought patterns and know yourself.THis template is the code link to release the DOUBT..............Permission is granted for you to dounload this template and use it as often as needed. http://lightworkers.org/content/24617/overcoming-doubt
Don’t Believe Everything You Think by William Frank Diedrich __________________________________
Every waking moment of every day the voice in the head chatters on. It tells you stories about who has wronged you; stories about what you can’t do; and stories about who you should blame. In conflict, the voice adds up other people’s faults and your virtues. Don’t believe everything you think! Seldom are these thoughts new. They are repetitive stories and recurrent memories playing over and over again. These memories create negative emotion. This kind of thinking is common to all of us in varying degrees... Is there a cure? Can we transcend our negative tendencies and limitations?
It has been written that we think around 60,000 thoughts per day, and that over 90 % of them are the same thoughts we thought yesterday. We are creatures of habit. If you would step back from your thoughts and look at them, you will find that your negative and blaming thoughts repeat themselves. There are certain people you complain to yourself about many times over. You may resolve some of those complaints only to replace them with new people and situations to complain about. The theme is the same. It may be frustration, or feeling victimized, or being outraged. The problem always seems to be someone else..
If you are happy with that, you need not read the rest of this article. However, if you are like most people, you are tired, and perhaps stressed, when you think of certain people or situations. You would like to feel more joy, more peace, and more empowered with others. The quote from Robert Greenleaf at the top of this article is a universal truth. The problem is NEVER out there. It is ALWAYS in here. It is in your own mind, but don’t blame yourself. There is action you can take..
How you perceive your interactions with others is rooted in either of two mindsets. You are either a center of attention, or you are a center of influence. As a center of attention, the world revolves around you. You expect others to think, feel, speak, and act in ways that make you feel better. As a center of influence, you are aware that your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions influence others. You recognize that you are all that you can control. You also recognize that you cannot control others. Most of us spend most of our time as a center of attention. Even though we may be aware of our personal responsibility in relationships, we slip into the center of attention mode and emotions take over..
As a center of attention we blame and complain. We are focused on what others should be doing for us or what they are doing to us. As a center of attention we seek to preserve the ego, which is our self image, our view of self. The ego is easily threatened. It usually sees itself as better than or less than others, because it is always comparing. The ego is vain. It is in love with its own thoughts and opinions. We all have an ego..
The truth is, you and I are not our egos. The ego is a part of us, but it is not who we are. Who we are is something much deeper. You may call it your soul, or your Higher Self. You may call it your conscience or any other name. The point is, there is a deeper part of you that is an observer of all your thoughts and behaviors. It is a higher mind that is capable of making good choices. It is through this higher mind that your intuition speaks. It is through this higher mind that you feel compelled to seek the wisdom of a higher power..
If you notice that you are feeling resentful toward someone, the part of you that notices, is the real you. The part that is resentful is your ego. The voice in the head (the ego) will keep telling you the story that makes you feel resentful. It will tell you that it is the other person’s fault that you feel this way. Yet, it is your story. It’s your movie and you are the writer, producer, director, and the star of the drama. As you focus on this story you become more and more resentful. At this point you may ask yourself, why am I doing this to myself? There are several answers to this question... You think repetitive negative thoughts because:
• it is a form of mental entertainment • you are addicted to these kinds of thoughts • you like the drama • it justifies your opinions and behaviors
You can decide to stop giving these thoughts your energy. As you give energy to blaming thoughts, you are the one who suffers. As you play it over and over again in your mind, justifying your behaviors, and criticizing theirs, it really doesn’t make you feel good. Believe it or not, Greenleaf’s advice that change begins in here does make you feel better. As you open yourself to seeing how you may be affecting another; as you begin to offer compassion for others; you will lighten up..
When we have negative thoughts and feelings toward someone, our view of them is distorted. We see them in ways that justify the way we feel. Humility is the answer. Humility is the understanding that you really don’t know anything. When you take the attitude that you don’t know anything, you are open to learning something new. You are open to seeing people differently..
These words I offer here are well-known to me. I have studied this and practiced this. I have a passion for this work. Yet, despite my study, I still find myself blaming. I have conversations with my mind. I have taught myself to ignore my ego’s rantings and ravings and focus on what I really want---peace, resolution, or goal attainment..
There are still times when the emotions are overwhelming, My conscious mind wants to resolve the situation, but my ego and my emotions have totally taken over. In this situation, I pray. I let go of the situation and give it to my Higher Power, Sometimes I have to give it away many times because the thoughts keep coming back. What matters is the intent. Regardless of how self righteous you feel, if your clear intent is to let go and be at peace, then you will accomplish that..
There is no need to hate, be disgusted by, or to condemn anyone. Accept people as they are, and hold no grudges. You will feel better for it. Of itself, the human mind is not dependable. It is full of stories, memory fragments, jingles, and disconnected thoughts. The mind has to be managed. The mind is sometimes like a patient that needs healing. Other times it is a child who needs correcting. Undisciplined thinking will lead you into many unpleasant dramas. Be aware of what you think, but don’t believe it. Ask your Higher Power for help in seeing truly. Withdraw attention from repetitive negative stories and focus your attention on solutions, opportunities and blessings... Your thinking, then, will serve to uplift both others and yourself!
