Harold,

A lot is going on in the media right now and our staff is
in high-gear pouring over news stories to make certain
we are getting at the truth.

My team has assembled several key stories that truly
underscore the importance of our mission. Harold,
after reading each of these accounts, there will be
no question why we need to keep demanding the media
"Tell the Truth!"

Yesterday, there were fireworks on the Today show when
conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham boldly
challenged NBC to report the truth about the war
in Iraq.

Ingraham, who just returned from an extended trip to
the frontlines of Iraq herself, tenaciously fought
through an NBC double-team of David Gregory and
James Carville, who were intent on painting the
President -as a liar. Click here to read the

MRC research has determined that the networks are spending
too much time focusing on Saddam's outbursts in the
courtroom and downplaying witness testimony and evidence
of his crimes:

Monday's Today show delivered what co-host Katie Couric
described as "a random sampling" of public views on Iraq,
when in reality NBC featured just three people:

Harold, these are the kinds of skewed and misleading
messages that the media is presenting to tens of millions
of Americans each and every day. In each of these instances
it underscores the depth of deception and network
willingness to mislead Americans about the war.

As a member of our MRCAction team you are in the know.
You are informed, updated and armed with the truth about
the networks. That is why we are counting on friends
like you to help the MRC expand our reach!

Americans are being misled, deceived and lied to, and it
is up to you and me to shine the light of truth--exposing
the media and holding them accountable.

In less than a month, we will be taking tens of thousands
of petitions directly to the networks demanding they
"Tell the Truth!" about the war and more.

We want to make this presentation a major event that the
media simply cannot ignore. But we need you.

Please forward this message and link directly to
to at least 25-30 of your friends and family--who
are being deceived by the media!

Let them see for themselves what the media is doing--
or not doing, and urge them to add their names to our

Our goal is to rally an additional 25,000 new citizen
signers before our April 15th presentation. That isn't
much time, but I believe our team is up to the challenge
to make this presentation one that the networks simply
cannot ignore!

Please take immediate action today and forward this message
to your friends and family. I would also encourage you to
follow up with them making sure they have taken action
with you to be included in this upcoming presentation.

Thanks in advance for taking action with us!

P.S. Remember, if we meet our goal of 25,000 new petition
signers by April 15, the Director of the Free Market
Project, Dan Gainor, will deliver our petitions to ABC,
CBS, NBC and CNN. Please take action today!
