STOP THE LLOYD HARBOR DEER HUNT

Re-posted from ADL-LI listserv:

It is SO SO SO important that you call these numbers EVERY DAY THIS WEEK!!  Unless you help put the pressure on Leland Hairr, the Seminary, the town, AND the D.E.C., COUNTLESS DEER WILL CONTINUE TO DIE EVERY NIGHT!!!!

TELL THE MAYOR OF LLOYD HARBOR THAT THE DEER HUNT MUST STOP!   NOW!!!
CALL AND EMAIL MONSIGNOR JAMES MCDONALD AT THE SEMINARY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION AND TELL HIM HE SHOULD NOT ALLOW THE MAYOR TO USE SEMINARY GROUNDS FOR A SENSELESS DEER HUNT!

Please call the Mayor at his business office and tell him that using his authority to pressure the community to allow a deer cull is unacceptable, and  NO ONE WILL STAND FOR IT ANYMORE.  Inform him that we know he's involved in the deer hunt personally, and that we WILL stop his DEER-KILLING SPREE!

Please put the pressure on these two men:

Leland M. Hairr, Ph.D.    President
EEA, Inc.
55 Hilton Avenue,
Garden City, New York
(516) 746-4400, (212) 227-3200

Mayor Hairr has brainwashed the staff into thinking
that deer make children sick and are killing people
in car accidents--TELL Mr. McDonald that GUNS BEING FIRED 500 FEET FROM PEOPLES' HOMES IS MUCH SCARIER
THAN SPOTTY DATA!

***For the past two years, pressure from activists has forced the town to reconsider the deer cull.
SHOW THEM THAT WE WON'T GIVE UP!  WE CAN WIN THIS!!***

Also take a moment to tell the trustees who approved this hunt that their decision was a BAD ONE!

"Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
