Let me start by saying that I am a natural redhead.  The problem is, in the summer, my hair lightens a bit, and I don't really like it.  So, in order to get it back to it's natural colour in the summer, I mix up a little concoction of red wine, paprika, some earl grey tea and let it simmer for a few minutes.  Then I strain it, and mix in a couple of teaspoons of olive oil and enough oatmeal to make it thick.  I glop it on my hair, wrap my head in a towel, and leave it there for several hours.  Sure, I smell weird, but my hair is stained darker and no chemicals!
