Hi, everyone!
 

I received this email from Seal Alert-SA & this is not a scam or a joke.  All Francis Hugo is asking for is $1 or 1 pound or 1 whatever to help him save the seals in South Africa.  Also, he requests that you forward this to everyone, even if you can't donate.  For my fellow Americans, postage is 84 cents to South Africa; I'm not sure what it would be for my friends residing in other countries.  This man has done so much to try to help these poor creatures basically single-handedly (the Sea Shepherd has helped him too-I don't really care for this organization, but they were the first organization to actually HELP) & finally Humane Society International & IFAW have joined the fight.  You can always check out the Seal Alert-SA website (sorry, I don't have the link) to see all that he's done & to see that this is legitimate.
 

I know I'll be sending in my dollar.  Even if you can't donate, please forward this to everyone on your contact list (I know money is tight for many of you & I completely understand).

$1 Contract - STOP-THE-AFRICA-SEAL-HUNT


 
Dear All Seal Supporters,
 
      Many have already responded - which is just unbelieveable,
and just so at there is no confusion, this is real. Do the numbers yourself, HSUS 9.5 million, IFAW 2 million, WWF 5 million, etc, etc. I do know how many of you on this planet of 6 billion people - are seal supporters. At least I am going to try and find out. I know, a few people donating millions, if that were possible would not end the hunt(s) - but a few million people sending $1 will.
 
     I know what I am about to suggest sounds silly - but don't send more than $1 in the post - it could get lost in Africa's infamous postal system. $1 - is all it takes. The rest unfortunately is up to you. If I send this to 500 people, whom each send $1, who in turn get 10 of their friends to send $1. That is 5000, if 10 friends each is forwarded this, and then they each send it to 10 more friends. That is 500 000 $1 seal supporters - an incredible start.
 
    We won't know until we try it, and nothing ventured - nothing gained. After 8 years of doing this - I do so want this to end for these amazing seals. All I can therefore do, is ask of you, for your $1 support. Together I know we will end it.
 
    Put me to the test, challange me - (my previous corporate clients did and have never looked back), I won't let either you or the seals down, and that's a promise from the deepest part of my heart and soul.
 
PS - There is no Fund Raising Charity No. - this is business - on receipt of your $1 - you are contracting me to get the job of ending the Seal Hunt(s) done. (see contract below and attached)

If one single seal whose life was saved eight years ago - can remember and come back year after year after year - just to say thanks for saving his life. We owe it to them all - to save all their lives. Do this one simply thing - and I guarantee I will not only end and stop the African Seal Hunt, but I will with your sufficient support. Return them to their natural habitat and ensure that they as a species has a chance under the African sun.
 
    Just so there is no misunderstanding. You are not donating this $1 - You are hiring me to get the job done - and therefore expect no excuses.
 
    As soon as I am finished here in Africa - I will move onto Canada, Greenland, Norway and Russia - and end all these Seal Hunts!
 
    From me you will get no excuses, no PR's writing my letters or secretaries answering my phone, no well funded organization and fancy office building or regular glassy brochures - just 100% commitment, passion and compassion 24-7-365.
 
    If you want the Seal World to be a better place - now is your chance.
