Did you see the important news story by Lone W at Care2 News? A schizophrenic man stabbed a 9-year-old boy to death while they played video games together. The man had indicated to his psychiatrist and sister that he felt he would harm himself or others, but his need for inpatient care was ignored. This has to stop happening! Please ask your representatives to co-sponsor H.R. 619 for INPATIENT care!

The mentally disturbed man accused of killing a 9-year-old boy by plunging a knife into his chest told his sister that he was worried that he might injure himself - or someone else.

WITHHOLDING TREATMENT UNTIL MURDERS HAPPEN IS A SERIOUS THING WITH PRISON PROFITEERS BECAUSE 1.25 MILLION INMATES ARE MENTALLY ILL. If Morales is imprisoned for life, the prison will be paid millions for his incarceration.  Treating him as an inpatient until his crisis passed would have cost only thousands, and a child's life would have been spared. 

I was not allowed to post my new Care2 News Network article to any Care2 groups last night. Cyberstalkers keep illegally placing my home computer on their network somehow. I tried to disable and remove their connection, but could not. Our advocacy at Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill must be important to merit the cyberstalking techniques that are used against me. Help me post the REASON why mental patients like Mr. Morales are not given inpatient treatment when they ask for help -- BEFORE they are hurt or hurt someone else. Thanks for caring! Remember, approximately 54% of combat soldiers are liable to suffer from PTSD. One in Five Americans has some type of mental illness, and we all go to the same malls. Let's fix this mess! Remove barriers to timely treatment.

ANOTHER case involving a Mr. Morales happened in New York in 2008 when a citizen having a bipolar crisis walked onto the ledge of his apartment naked and police Tasered him, causing him to fall to his death.  He was not a threat to anyone, and his mother had called police for help for her son.  The latest case involving Mr. Morales who killed the 9-year-old shows what happens all to frequently when acute patients in crisis are denied mental health care.  Rather than the thousands of dollars that would have been used to treat Mr. Morales as an inpatient to stabilize him, a young boy lies dead, and taxpayers will likely pay over $4 million to incarcerate this sick man for life - a person who asked for help but was DENIED.
