Alarms for Justice
WE HAVE THE POWER TO DEMAND JUSTICE IN AMERICA'S JUSTICE SYSTEM.  The time is NOW to walk together for CHANGE in the justice system, not after the next unarmed man is killed like Oscar Grant, not after Troy Davis is executed without a new trial as planned, not after more citizens' privacy rights are deleted. Peacefully march for justice in the tradition of Dr. King in his hometown!

You are invited to the 'HUMAN RIGHTS FOR PRISONERS MARCH - May 16 in Atlanta' on Alarms for Justice!
Not only are the "War on Terror" camp detainees tortured and killed, but so are inmates INSIDE the U.S., mostly without accountability.  Walk with us for CHANGE.

There are many concerns about justice in America.

*SEE 25 JUSTICE CONCERNS AT THIS LINK.*

We hope YOU join us in Atlanta on May 16 when we will peacefully walk to highlight and end prisoner abuse here in the U.S., as it is to end in offshore and overseas prison camps connected with the War on Terror. There are many other justice issues, including the need to decriminalize mental illness, protect citizens from police brutality, secure privacy rights for Americans, and stop the proliferation of the prison nation that this country has become, where 1 in every 31 persons is either imprisoned or living under the threat of prison as parolees or probationers, according to USDOJ statistics (2006).

Atlanta is beautiful in the spring. Come walk with us for justice!

DETAILS: Meeting at 3:00 p.m. in Woodruff Park on Peachtree Street and walking one block to a newspaper owned by Cox Enterprises, Inc., Atlanta Journal Constitution, and a few blocks to CNN to ensure media coverage for American justice issues. We plan to convene in Olympic Park for refreshments and a chance to share information and ideas regarding justice issues in the U.S.A.

All peace-loving people with an interest in justice and promoting human rights are invited to participate in this non-violent walk and meeting to emphasize the need for CHANGE in our justice system and to protest the proliferation of the prison nation that America has become.

Please let us know if you need help making hotel arrangements.

BRING YOUR FAMILY AND GROUP TO THE FIRST ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS FOR PRISONERS MARCH ON MAY 16 IN ATLANTA, GEROGIA!
