Obama's Eligibility for Presidency Taken Before the Supreme Court By Justice Clarence Thomas

The Obama-Biden plan provides affordable, accessible health care for all Americans. Health care advocates across the country supported these candidates. Will we be disappointed because of Judge Thomas bringing Obama's eligibility for office before the Supreme Cou . . .

My opinion on the matter:

In civil law, some things are declared moot when they pass a certain date.  In other words, even if a person can prove a wrong, it does not matter beyond a cut-off point.  I consider this matter as one that should be moot.  Here is why:

If any of the information brought up against Mr. Obama or any official is NEW (came up after election but before swaring in ceremonies), it would be right to consider it, of course.  But no country should allow its citizens to brave long lines and celebrate a victory that most people are very pleased about, only to have our votes subjected to the possibility of being nullified later by Court action using information that was known and widely reviewed before election day, don't you agree?  It is almost as though someone said, "Let's see if he wins, then we'll use Plan 2."

Not only is this late review by the Court harassment for Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden, but it strikes me as being grossly unfair to the American people, who they are ALL hired to serve.

Folks who supported the Obama/Biden ticket because they want to see their health care plan come to fruition are anxious to see the team sworn into office.  What is your opinion?

Please share your opinion in the comments section of this blog or use the link to access the comments section at Care2.  The entire article is on NowPublic.com, which you can access by way of the green "visit site" button, and there is much lively discussion underway there as well.

Well, what do you think?
