Come out and support both Portland-based Books To Prisoners projects- if you can, please bring a dictionary, in any condition, and spanish-english dictionaries are also really needed. We are a not-for-profit, non-hierarchical project that welcomes volunteers and we appreciate any level of involvement!
We are also currently looking for a (free) space to house one of the projects, with around 5,000 books. The location has to be one that will be publicized widely, and be open to "everyone" during mailing days, twice a week on mondays and wednesdays 5-8pm. We need around 20' x 15' of space.
If you know of a possible space, or have more questions on what we do, or anything else, please email pdxbookstoprisoners@riseup.net
See you at the show!
