Bear was found as stray. He has saved me four times from stepping on very deadly Mohave rattlesnakes by jumping between me and the snake I was about to step on. My hero!

sorely missed. Adopted 14 years ago. Died September 2009, age 19 years and 9 mos. Passed through several shelters and at least three homes before coming to me. A very brave, intelligent, funny little basenji/corgi mix with an indomitable spirit and zest for life. She will not be forgotten.
