Competitors from 5 Different Countries Compete in Jumping to Qualify in the Olympics
NBC Sports presents live coverage of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Equestrian Championships this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET from the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Equestrian Championships is a qualifying event for the 2012 London Olympic Games, and features world class equestrians competing for $250,000 in prize money.
The Rolex Kentucky Championships is the only Four-Star event in the western hemisphere and is the first of three wins required for the $350,000 Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing award.
The three-day event begins with dressage and cross country and culminates with the jumping competition, a competition of speed, precision and agility, as riders navigate through obstacles with their horses.
Universal Sports Network will air live coverage of the cross country event this Saturday from 10 a.m. - Noon ET with Tim Ryan and Melanie Smith-Taylor announcing.

The NFL’s 2012 Draft, the 77th annual meeting of National Football League franchises to select newly eligible players, returns to prime time television with the first round draft picks starting at 8 p.m. (ET) sharp on April 26.
Second and third rounds are scheduled for live broadcast on Friday April 27, at 7 p.m. (ET). Rounds 4 through 7 will be televised on the following day, Saturday April 28, at noon (ET).
The draft will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, N.Y., and kicks off this year with the Indianapolis Colts with first selection rights after their league’s worst record in 2011 season.
