The People's President of the United States

    By talking with local citizens, listening to commentaries, and reading the messages people add to their signatures on petitions, I see a need and a desire for change in our government. People have had enough corrupt politicians, lengthy debates in Congress, and outdated laws and governmental structures.

    The citizens of the United States deserve to be represented and not told what to do. If we want a country we can be proud of we all need to work together. The time is now!

    I want to create a fair and respectful government. I plan to run for President of the United States of America in 2012. I am studying Poltical Science in Michigan where I will earn my ASA. I plan to get my BA from SFU in British Columbia and return to the States for my Masters.

     I am young and optimistic. I believe a government run by the people is possible. I am not rich. I believe I represent most Americans, the Americans who want a good life for themselves and their families. I am down to earth, fair and open minded. I have a plethora of life experience and I am not afraid of a challenge. Becoming President of the United States is a huge undertaking, but I believe I can do it. I believe we can create the government we want, a governmnet that works for us, the people, not for the highest bidder.
