when America was Created they were Masons. America was Founded as an expression and an experiment in masonic philosophy.  The Ideals of domocracy, Freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and equality are all fundamental masonic ideals.
When America was Created they were by no means Christian.

All of the Founding Fathers were Masons. Both the american revolution and the french revolution were engineered by the Masons. The Masons are generaly Deists were as general Christianity is Theist.

The idea that America was Originaly Christian came from the Masonic tendancy to espouse Christian views to support their actions. However, this was basically a Ruse.

America is a Masonic Experiment which at this point is not known to be a success or a failure. If Fundamental Christians continue to gain Power in this Country it will surely be a failure.

Our Founding Fathers

My Pledge is to My Country not to A God

Who I am is not History. I am how I am now. When I make a Pledge to my Country I do not want to make a pledge to a God I do not believe in.  The Pledge is to My Country, not to someone elses God.

Simply because you view 'God' as a Higher Power doesn't make it ok to force others to make some sort of Pledge that includeds a God of your viewpoint.

My God might be a Goddess. It maybe offensive to me to say God instead of Goddess. There is no reason to include anything reguarding any sort of God in this Pledge. This is a Pledge to a Nation. Everyone who feels an allegiance to this Country should be able to say this Pledge without having to say anything that is offensive to their Religious beliefs.

I understand that people feel that saying "Under God" doesn't hurt anyone. But it is & they are hurting. This is how you feel, not how everyone feels.

many people feel that this Phrase Violates the Spirit of the seperation of church and state. Even some people who do believe in God.

The city of Nazareth is sort of the opposite of the city of Troy. The city of Troy is a city that was once considered legendary but was eventually proven to have been real. The city of Nazareth has for a long time been considered to have always been real but was actually probably originally nothing but a myth.

There is, of course, in present day Israel, a city of Nazareth. However, there is good reason to think that the Nazareth mentioned in the Bible never existed and was only founded later by Christians.

There are no historical references to a town named Nazareth until 200 AD. Nazareth is not included in the 45 cities of the Galilee that are mentioned by Josephus the historian and its name is missing from the 63 towns of Galilee mentioned in the Talmud.

The idea that Jesus grew up in a place named Nazareth probably started with the gospel of Matthew. Matthew makes the following statement in Matt 2:23:

And he came and dwelt in a city
called Nazareth: that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken by the
prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

As far as I can tell, Matthew was completely incompetent when it came to understanding the Old Testament. Matthew had a habit of taking sections of the Old Testament completely out of context and declaring them to be "prophecies" regarding Jesus. This verse is one of the most ridiculous of his supposed "prophecies" because there is nothing like this in the Old Testament.

The closest thing anybody has been able to find in the Old Testament is a prophecy concerning Sampson, (the guy with magical strength and long hair). Judges 13:5 says of Samson "the child shall be a Nazirite."

It appears that Matthew decided to take a prophecy regarding Sampson and pretend it was talking about Jesus. You can tell that this was probably the Old Testament passage that Matthew was referring to by the fact that everybody believes Jesus had long hair.

Most Christians today believe that Jesus had long hair because he grew up in Nazareth where no one cut their hair. Unfortunately, there is no record of any cities in Galilee that had a tradition of men not cutting their hair. However, there WAS a sect of Jewish mystics called Nazarites that swore a vow not to cut their hair. The vows of the Nazarites are mentioned in Numbers 6:1–21. So, it appears that Matthew, and all Christians since him have been confusing the religious sect of Nazarites with the supposed inhabitants of some imaginary city name Nazareth.

It would be quite a coincidence if there just happened to be a town named Nazareth where no one cut there hair, AND a religious sect named the Nazarites who never cut their hair. The fact of the matter is that there was no such coincidence, Matthew was just completely incompetent at understanding the Old Testament. He probably was a speaker of Greek who could barely read Hebrew and was just picking stuff out almost at random and trying to make it look like it somehow was a prophecy making Jesus look like a "predicted messiah". When you take a close look at Matthew's supposed prophecies they really begin to appear to be the work of someone pathetically grasping at straws in an attempt to convince Jews that their religion predicted the birth of someone like Jesus.

An example of this horrible abuse of the Old Testament is found in Matt 1:23:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

This is taken from Isaiah 7:14. However, if you look at the prophecy in context, you will see that the same prophecy declared that there would be an invasion of bees and flies and that everyone in Israel would get their entire bodies shaved by the King of Assyria. Obviously, there is no record of such a event during the time of Jesus. Conveniently enough, Matthew just decided to forget about the rest of the prophecy when he used the part about the virgin birth. Moreover, Matthew seems to have confused the Hebrew term for "young girl" with the word "virgin".

It seems quite likely that early Christians were frustrated when they found they were unable to locate the Nazareth that Matthew had made up. The Christians, unable to find a Nazareth, appear to have created one. They either started a new village and called it Nazareth or they invaded some pre-existing village in the area and started calling it Nazareth. Given the obvious confusion between the Nazarite sect and a village of Nazareth, and the sudden appearance of a Nazareth about 200 years after the time of Jesus, this is the most probable explanation.

Name: Stephen Zaher
Type: Memorial (for the deceased)
To Honor: Individual(s)
Location: Burr Ridge, Illinois United States

Veteran played key role in establishing memorial

By Sandy Illian Bosch October 25, 2011 11:22AM

Decorated World War II veteran Stephen Zaher of Burr Ridge wasn’t afraid of much. But the 92-year-old said more than once that he feared he wouldn’t live to see his longtime dream of a Burr Ridge Veterans Memorial come true.

“He did see it,” said Leonard Ruzak, who served on the Veterans Memorial Committee with Zaher.

Zaher died Oct. 20, four months after the dedication of the memorial outside Burr Ridge Village Hall.

Zaher was an original member of the committee, which worked for more than a decade to raise money and plan for the memorial.

“He played an important part,” said Ruzak, bringing in some large donations.

“We’re all going to miss him,” Ruzak added.

Shirley Zaher said her husband was a wonderful, faithful man who, despite his many military commendations, was never comfortable being called a hero.

“He really didn’t like being singled out,” Shirley Zaher said.

Of the many honors he received, Shirley said her husband was most proud of his bronze star and the French Legion of Honor, awarded to him in 2008, 63 years after returning home from the war.

The medal, the French equivalent to the U.S. Medal of Honor, is given to those who defended French freedom on French soil. Daughter Stephanie Zaher said the medal would be displayed on her father’s lapel during his visitation and services.

Despite the human tragedy her father saw as an Army Ranger, his daughter said Zaher never lost his childlike sense of humor. The eulogy she prepared for his funeral Mass includes a story about what she long believed to be a cookie-eating Teddy bear.

Whenever she had to leave her beloved stuffed bear behind, her father would give her bear a cookie. When the family returned, the cookie was always eaten.

“One day I caught him, stuffing that cookie into his mouth as quickly as he could,” she said.

“He would do things for me that were so magical,” she said. Years later, he would share that same love and sense of humor with his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Zaher was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, nee Stalmasek. He is survived by his second wife, Shirley, nee Gorski; his daughters, Lois (Jim) Bartunek, Carol (Tony) Kopta, Mary (Eric) Norton and Stephanie Zaher; his brother, George (Suzanne) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook. Services will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, before proceeding to St. John of the Cross Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 a.m.

Zaher will be buried at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Top 10 Reasons Why Trees Are Valuable and Important

By Steve Nix, Guide

1. Trees Produce Oxygen Let's face it, we could not exist as we do if there were no trees. A mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year. What many people don't realize is the forest also acts as a giant filter that cleans the air we breath.
2. Trees Clean the Soil The term phytoremediation is a fancy word for the absorption of dangerous chemicals and other pollutants that have entered the soil. Trees can either store harmful pollutants or actually change the pollutant into less harmful forms. Trees filter sewage and farm chemicals, reduce the effects of animal wastes, clean roadside spills and clean water runoff into streams.
3. Trees Control Noise Pollution Trees muffle urban noise almost as effectively as stone walls. Trees, planted at strategic points in a neighborhood or around your house, can abate major noises from freeways and airports.
4. Trees Slow Storm Water Runoff Flash flooding can be dramatically reduced by a forest or by planting trees. One Colorado blue spruce, either planted or growing wild, can intercept more than 1000 gallons of water annually when fully grown. Underground water-holding aquifers are recharged with this slowing down of water runoff.
5. Trees Are Carbon Sinks To produce its food, a tree absorbs and locks away carbon dioxide in the wood, roots and leaves. Carbon dioxide is a global warming suspect. A forest is a carbon storage area or a "sink" that can lock up as much carbon as it produces. This locking-up process "stores" carbon as wood and not as an available "greenhouse" gas.
6. Trees Clean the Air Trees help cleanse the air by intercepting airborne particles, reducing heat, and absorbing such pollutants as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. Trees remove this air pollution by lowering air temperature, through respiration, and by retaining particulates.
7. Trees Shade and Cool Shade resulting in cooling is what a tree is best known for. Shade from trees reduces the need for air conditioning in summer. In winter, trees break the force of winter winds, lowering heating costs. Studies have shown that parts of cities without cooling shade from trees can literally be "heat islands" with temperatures as much as 12 degrees Fahrenheit higher than surrounding areas.
8. Trees Act as Windbreaks During windy and cold seasons, trees located on the windward side act as windbreaks. A windbreak can lower home heating bills up to 30% and have a significant effect on reducing snow drifts. A reduction in wind can also reduce the drying effect on soil and vegetation behind the windbreak and help keep precious topsoil in place.
9. Trees Fight Soil Erosion Erosion control has always started with tree and grass planting projects. Tree roots bind the soil and their leaves break the force of wind and rain on soil. Trees fight soil erosion, conserve rainwater and reduce water runoff and sediment deposit after storms.
10. Trees Increase Property Values Real estate values increase when trees beautify a property or neighborhood. Trees can increase the property value of your home by 15% or more.

~Science & Magick~

The Many Faces Of Magick

What is magick?

Science Evolved out of magick.

Ancient Philosophers were actually basically Wizards.

Socrates & Plato were known for performing Wonders, such as raising the Dead & Summoning Demons. (Although you don't hear much about that today). Socrates was known for having a familiar demon whom his friends and associates regularly consulted for help with their problems.

The term wizard means "wise one." The term philosopher means "lover of wisdom". Pretty similar terms that were at one time synonymous.

Physics was Orignially known as Natural Philosophy. Also, many early scientists were, (unbeknownst to most people today), dabblers in magick.

Isaac Newton, the man who formulated the theory of gravity and developed calculus, was a practicing alchemist. Speaking of alchemy - the famous goal of the alchemists was a magical stone that could turn lead into gold and give immortality. This stone was known as the "Philosophers' Stone". It was called the Philosophers' Stone because the practioners of alchemy commonly used the term Philosopher to mean one who practiced magick.

In the pre-renaissance world, wisdom was generally considered to be wisdom, no matter whether it was natural or supernatural in nature. Anyone who felt a love of wisdom studied all subjects and didn't differentiate much between what would be considered magical and what would be scientific. In fact, at that time, in many cases it wouldn't have been known which was which. Also, in many cases, subjects of this sort were studied along side religious subjects.

Due to the fact that literacy was largely common only among the clergy most of the sorcerers and scientists of the medieval world were christian monks and priests. One of the things that most surprised me when I started reading some of the works of sorcery from that time was the fact that the sorcerer was assumed to know how to say mass. The book was obviously written assuming the practioner of the magic was a christian priest.

"High Priest" (Hebrews 4:14),

"Wisdom" (Proverbs 8:12),

Science has been the Victim of Religious Discrimination for too long. It's time to stop this.

Written In memory of Galileo and all the Victims of Church Intolerance.

By the end of the fourth century CE it was sacrilegious not to believe the Christian God placed the stars in the Heavens each night.

In the 3rd century BCE, the Alexandrian scholar Eratosthenes correctly calculated the circumference of Mother Earth but at this time it was Heresy according to the Christian churches not to believe that the Earth was flat. (This is Not Including Gnostics)

Stop Facebook From Switching to Dirty Coal
Targeting: Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO) and Jonathan Heiliger (Facebook VP of Technical Operations)
Started by:
Facebook has just announced that it is building its own gigantic data center in Oregon. For the first time Facebook will have its own facility but unlike Google or Microsoft, which both built data centers in the same area running off hydroelectric power, Facebook’s facility will be powered by dirty coal.
Data centers use huge amounts of electricity and the new Facebook center will get its power from a coal-fired power plant in Idaho.
Coal is the single biggest cause of global warming and by far the dirtiest and most polluting way to generate electricity. Facebook should be choosing renewable or at least less destructive sources for its huge energy needs.
Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook in his Harvard dorm room.
As of December 2, 2009 Facebook has claimed that it has attained over 350 million users. As of January 2010 Zuckerberg is the youngest self-made businessman worth more than a billion dollars.[6] Today, there are more than 800,000 developers around the world building applications for Facebook Platform.
Mark, Coal Kills! Burning coal kills fish, poisons lakes and rivers. Coal Kills jobs, animals, wildlife. A recent US study, Comparison of Reported Effects and Risks to Vertebrate Wildlife – which appears to be the only comparative study of electricity generation to factor in wildlife mortality – concludes that thanks to emissions of sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon dioxide and mercury, coal-fired generation is a far greater killer.

Here is yet another study

This study also concludes that over the complete lifecycle coal kills more than ten times as many birds per GWh as wind.

The overwhelming factor is the effect of climate change on habitat.

This is an open letter to Mark Zuckerberg asking Facebook to go green and use clean energy. You can't Save The Planet on Facebook and kill it at the same time. Asking all to boycott Facebook and stop them from using this dirty, poisonous power source. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg have more money than they could use in a lifetime. They can certainly afford clean energy. 2010 Facebook made a very bad business move converting to using electricity generated by burning coal. This is extremly selfish & immoral. Do they have any personal or business ethics? Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook will be exacerbating Climate Change / global climate change, do they care?

Facebook has a lot of APPs where I once did a lot of good activism and I am outraged they would use coal burning with all it's negative and deadly environmental effects.

To date, Mark Zuckerberg has not returned as a student to college. I think he needs to get an education as he is not educted or thinking clearly. No wonder he is investing in Coal, no education!!

Moving to California

Zuckerberg moved to Palo Alto, California, with Moskovitz and some friends. They leased a small house which served as their first office. Over the summer, Zuckerberg met Peter Thiel who invested in the company. They got their first office during the summer of 2004. According to Zuckerberg, the group planned to return to Harvard in the fall but eventually decided to remain in California. To date, he has not returned as a student to college.

This is what happens when you drop out of school. You get Stupid

Let this be a lesson to all children this is one example why education and school is so important as when you are uneducated you could seriously kill someone or a planet. Mark Zuckerberg is a drop out which could be the reason for converting to coal energy. Maybe Mark Zuckerberg should consider going back to school and take some science classes?

Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of school and now takes education away from innocent children.

Facebook just stole $40 million in future taxes from Oregon schoolchildren. The corporation will take advantage of an “enterprise zone” in Prineville to build an energy-sucking server farm with a 15-year break on property taxes in exchange for 35 jobs. That’s an astonishing $1.3 million in subsidy per job! Most of the jobs likely won’t even go to people in Prineville. Real “friends” don’t make other people pay their taxes for them. The state Legislature needs to wake up. Why should hardworking Oregonians pay taxes and stuff their kids in crowded classrooms while the state is shoveling out money for such bogus corporate tax breaks?
