Smithville, TN-Batman abandoned at shelter-won't eat-Very Depressed URGENT!!!


This poor dog just shows you who is more humane, the dog or the humans. Some dirt bag abandoned him at the Dog pound, and he misses them so much he will not eat or even move around. He is very frightened and extremely depressed. Who wouldn't be? Please won't someone show him some mercy and take him home?

These are my least favorite e-mails to receive or send - this poor old dog breaks my heart. He looks defeated - like he knows nobody wants him or cares. I want to go get him, but I have nowhere to put him - no back yard fence. Could anyone just keep him long enough to find another owner or a NO KILL shelter to get him to Austin where the shelter is NO KILL. Please we are a big group w/Big Hearts- Let's Cross Post this widely and find a place for Batman to live out his days w/love and respect and oh, yes dignity -the least of which we hope for when we are old. Notes: Young maledog. friendly. Not sure what this mixture is. Black with white chest and ears that stand up and out. So cute. These ears are something to see. I call them Batman ears. He is so frighten in the shelter. He misses his home but the poor guy was abandon, tied outside the shelter. He is refusing to eat or to even move around much

The current City fee rate for adoption is $45 dollars which includes the adoption fee of $20 and a $25 refundable spay/neuter fee. A signed spay/neuter agreement is required to be compliance with the Tennessee Spay/Neuter Law. The $25 spay/neuter fee will be refunded upon proof of the spay/neuter procedure and the adoption receipt within 30 days of the adoption. Animals that are already spay/neuter has an adoption fee of $20.
