Wouldn't it be fun if we ALL sent our old shoes to the white house for Christmas?  See the video embedded in the news story to get a look at Bush ducking shoes
and join me in at least wishing I'd had the chance to throw mine at him too, for the widows and the orphans, for the maimed and the grieving families.  Then support Obama's creation of a special prosecutor to hold him accountable.

Lisa said it best:

Think about this for a minute...

If I happened to show up on your door step crying,

Would you Care?

If I called you and asked you to pick me up because somethingHappened,

Would you come?

If I had one day left, to live my life;

Would you be part of That last day?

If I needed a shoulder to cry on,

Would you give me Yours?

This is a test to see who your real friends are or

If you are just some one to talk to you when they are bored . . .

Send this to Everybody on your list including the person who sent it to you.

I just Did.....because you are my friend.

Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes?

They blink together, they move together, they cry together,

They see things together and they sleep together,

BUT THEY NEVER SEE EACH OTHER... that's what friendship is.

Your aspiration is your motivation, your motivation is your belief,

Your belief is your peace, your peace is your target,

Your target is heaven, and life is like hell withoutFRIENDS.

It's 'world best friends week'.

Who is your best friend?

Send this to all Your good friends.

Even me, if I am one of them.

See how many you get back.

If u get more than 3 then you really are a lovable person...

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate!!!!

Lord, Keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth...AMEN..!!

love to all--

I have this circle of E-mail friends,
Who mean the world to me;
Some days I "send" and "send,"
At other times, I let them be.

I am so blessed to have these friends,
With whom I've grown so close;
So this little poem I dedicate to them,
Because to me they are the "Most"!

When I see each name download,
And view the message they've sent;
I know they've thought of me that day,
And "well wishes" were their intent.

So to you, my friends, I would like to say, !
Thank you for being a part;
Of all my daily contacts,
This comes right from my heart.

I'm honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until we write again.

The NIH has a wonderful interactive cartoon web page for teaching kids (and us older kids too) about toxics in the home.  Check it out at

I think this is a very important story: I am a senior citizen living in a small town in eastern Washington, and like most of us on a low Social Security "fixed income" I have often been the victim of drug-related crime in my neighborhood(s), ever since becoming disabled 15 years ago. The police do little to curb this constant repeat criminal behavior, saying "it's the neighborhood." I think we deserve a better answer. The state was investigating and planning strategies for coping with abusive neighborhood problems last summer in meetings throughout the state, I have not been able to find out the results of their meetings or what they plan to do. To me it is obvious that we need to take better care of the children to begin with if we are to avoid this plague when YOU are old, and especially for their sake NOW--lack of conscience and recidivism do not have to take our kids' futures, do they? And why in the NOW do seniors, the disabled and the poor have to live with constant chemical terrorism, harassment, assault and abuse in our own homes by people we don't even know? Does not say much for America, does it! Reverend Pennie Mumm
