As a young man growing up in the 1970's , this song and its message had a very strong influence on me . Mary Magdalene and the 12 Apostles are in, intense anguish because their friend and lord has been arrested by the Romans . They beg for Jesus to put a halt to his plan . Jesus had told them what must happen for man-women-kind to be saved from the sins of the world . They pretty much know what is in store for Jesus in the up coming days and their hearts are broken because of what Jesus must do for them .

In this day and age it is clear that the enemy is becoming stronger , more and more of God's children are falling away from God , Jesus and the Holy Spirit . More and more of God's children are choosing to go it alone and living their lives for all the wrong reasons . Friends I tell you now, Jesus is real, Heaven is real and Hell is real .
