MIDSUMMER SUN

Midsummer sun
your golden light
at solstice dawn
majestic sight

Equal measure
light with dark
yet focus on
the golden spark

Exploding forth
as fire alight
creation dawns
as ever bright

Symbolic of
a brand new dawn
of life anew
the past forlorn

Forever gone
to yonder years
and with it all
our hate and fears

For love is now
the golden glow
as brotherhood
forever flows

Midsummer sun
your beauty seen
as love divine
is now supreme

O glory to
this solstice day
your golden fire
it lights the way
