As I go deeper into exploration of MySelf, I am finding it a pleasure also to look at words and go deeper into them too. Some of course offer great depth, alternative symbolic understanding and meaning way beyond the everyday useage.

Going it Alone (All One) as I have done for most of the past year or so - and loving every minute of it, I might add - living on a self-governing island nation in the middle of the Irish Sea is so Self reflective, for here, in the winter at least, (the time when we go into introspection) we are often physically isolated by the weather.

Storms causing high seas as they have been doing for the past few weeks and gale force winds and rains often see the Isle of Man cut off from all physical travel connections to and from the UK from where most of the Island's supplies come.

In such isolation, the Island folk have developed a strong character of living independently and this I find a great vibrational frequency for experience in Self discovery at the deepest level in my Aloneness/All Oneness. I love it.

So looking deeper into the word ISOLATE , One sees a far more indepth understanding than appearances would have us believe on the surface! Guess the old adage of "not judging a book by its cover" applies even to words!

ISOLATE, when written I SOUL 8, we see before us a far greater understanding of the purpose of Aloneness as All Oneness.

The One IAM (Presence) YOUARE embraces ALL, no exclusions... there is NO isolation in being Al(l)one, for the "I" Soul (is) Infinitely present Everywhere....no exclusions.

The superficial meaning attributed to isolation is thus impossible when living the eternal life as One Being Present Everywhere as the "I" Soul Infinite (Infinite Soul IAM Presence) embracing All There Is.

So you see, in my experience at least, being Alone asAll One, with Self on my own, "isolated", is a Onederful experience of connection in, as, of and with The One IAM (Presence) YOUARE , The I SOUL 8 ~ Infinite Soul IAM Presence, embracing All There Is. In this experience separation does NOT exist.

I am more than happy Being an I SOUL 8, Al(l)one here in this beautiful paradise, yet Everywhere too in the Present Moment.

It is said that what One sees "out there" is a Self reflection and I am sure we all have as outer reflections that which reflects our magnificently beautiful inner glory.

Ophiuchus, the Snake Charmer..the 13th of the 12 constellations of the Zodia

With the opening of the 13th stargate (rose) on 11/11/11 and another 11/11/11 on 29 November I thought it appropriate to bring to the fore the 13th house of the Astrological Zodiac we are entering into on 30 November for 3 weeks or so.... accordingly we havebeen/are still in Libra as I write (21 November) and enter Scorpio for 6 days on 23rd.........should be a great and intensive week ahead.....

Ophiuchus, the Snake Charmer

is the thirteenth of the twelve constellations of the Zodiac. It is the forgotten constellation, perhaps, for the Sun actually spends more time before the stars of Ophiuchus (19 days) than it does in neighboring Scorpius (6 days). Also, the stars in this area of the sky are less than magnificent. There are only four stars that exceed a rating of magnitude three. Alpha, Ras Alhague, is a magnitude 2.1 star somewhat less than midway on the line from Vega toward Antares. Eta Ophiuchi, Zeta, and Beta follow at 2.6, 2.7 and 2.9 magnitude. These stars can be found above Scorpius and below the stars of Hercules. Aquila is to the east. The center of the constellation crosses the meridian at about eleven p.m. in early July.

For binocular viewing there are six star clusters in this area of the sky, all with Messier numbers: 9, 10, 12, 14, 19 and 62. Another, M107, is dimmer and would require a telescope for study. Still other globular clusters exist in this region, making 22 in all.

A number of double stars are here, too, including Sabik (Eta-Ophiuchi), a pair of third-magnitude stars separated by one second. 70-Ophiuchi is another interesting multiple star, which José Olivarez has considered in his Observations column. The colors of the stars are said to be yellow and purple. This star system was discovered in 1779 by Sir William Herschel. It is part of an olden asterism made up with other stars in this region of Ophiuchus. The stars form the letter V that suggests the Hyades in Taurus, the Bull. In 1777, a Polish astronomer, Abbé Poczobut of Wilna, asked the French Academy to honor the last Polish king, King Stanislaus Poniatowski, with a constellation. The designation did not last, however, although “Poniatowski's Bull” may still be found on some star charts.

Æsculapius was an immortal man who had been schooled by the centaur Chiron in the arts of botany and medicine. So he was knowledgeable of the various herbs and plants and a student of nature. One day, it is said, he was in the house of a friend when he killed a snake. He watched in astonishment when another snake slithered into the room with a particular herb in its mouth and with it restored the slain reptile to life. Recognizing the plant, Æsculapius soon had learned to use its mystical powers to heal the sick and resurrect the dead. It is from this history and from the ability of a snake to cast off its skin and assume a new revitalization that serpents have become symbols for healing. The staff of Æsculapius, with a snake coiling about the rod, is well known in today's medicine. Unfortunately, this symbol is often confused with the caduceus of Mercury, which is a doubly-winged wand entwined by two snakes. Truly, however, the symbol of Mercury is the symbol of messengers.

Æsculapius, the first doctor, sailed on the famous voyage of the Argonauts in search of the Golden Fleece. Following the journey, he continued to heal the sick and to advance the practice of medicine. On the death of Orion, he was about to attempt to restore the life of this great hero when Pluto, lord of the underworld, intervened. Pluto reasoned that his realm would decline if Æsculapius were allowed to revive the dead. He appealed to his brother Jupiter to agree that death should be the ultimate end of mortal man, not to be trifled with even by the most skilled of physicians. Jupiter, king of the gods, struck Æsculapius with a thunderbolt and ended his life on Earth. But in tribute to the accomplishments and skill of the great physician, Jupiter placed him among the stars, where today he is known as Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer.

Antiquated star maps show a larger constellation, depicting the physician clutching the serpent that wraps about his body or shoulders. Now, however, the serpent itself is represented and is given two identities. Stars to the west are those of the head, Serpens Caput, while the tail section, Serpens Cauda, writhes eastward toward Aquila, above the shield of Scutum.

One of the most interesting objects that you can't see in Ophiuchus is the Pipe nebula. On dark, clear nights you won't see it because this absorption nebula lies in front of the spectacular Milky Way. It is one of the largest dark-cloud formations that can (cannot?) be seen from the Northern Hemisphere.

Ophiuchus, not so well known as neighboring Scorpius or Sagittarius of the Zodiac constellations, has much to draw your attention during summer evenings.

Astrological Attributes of Ophiuchus
The 13th sign of the Zodiac

The constellation, Ophiuchus, has been known since ancient times, and is better known as Serpentarius, the Serpent Holder. It is included in the list of 48 constellations described by Ptolemy. Ophiuchus is depicted as a man handling a serpent; his body dividing the large snake into two parts, giving way to the symbol used today as an Asclepius - the medical staff. Astrologers have not included Ophiuchus in the wheel of Astrological signs because the Sun spends only about nineteen days in this 13th sign of the Mazzaroth. Not that there wasn't a 13th sign in the Heavens, but as far as Astrologers were concerned, the Sun traveled from the constellation 'Scorpius' and then proceeded directly into the sign of Sagittarius. In reality, this was not the case. The Sun, for 19 days of the year, travels through the star constellation 'Ophiuchus' before entering Sagittarius from Scorpius - see chart below. thus The sign of Ophiuchus is patterned after the original 'Serpent Holder', Enki, a Sumerian god.

The signs of the Zodiac are for the most part, the highway, or path on which the Sun takes it's yearly journey across the heavens - as it would appear to Earthlings. These signs are actually star constellations occupying space in which the Sun appears to travels in an earth year. The original twelve signs/constellations: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are quite familiar to everyone, however, the thirteenth sign and constellation, [Ophiuchus], is in fact, not well known. To acknowledge a 13th sign now would seem awkward for astrologers, who like the tidiness of 12 signs that rule over the 12 houses of the Zodiac. The heavens are alive and they do change after a few thousand years and the astrologer who wants to maintain accuracy must change along with the signs in the heavens.

The constellation of Ophiuchus is the only sign of the Zodiac which is linked to a real man. This man lived in ancient Egypt around the 27th century BCE, and his name was Imhotep [again patterned after Enki]. Many of the same attributes of Imhotep can also be found in the Biblical Hebrew man Joseph, son of Jacob - [see comparison chart for these two men in separate article]. Imhotep is credited with many accomplishments including the knowledge and use of medicine. It is said of Imhotep that he brought the art of healing to mankind. The symbol of a serpent [or snake], which is still widely used today to represent the medical profession, was used to represent Imhotep. Imhotep was also known as 'Aesclepius' to the ancient Greeks, but by any name the attributes are still all the same. The attributes listed below describe the Serpent Holder, Imhotep, i.e. the Hebrew Joseph, and Aesclepius. Caduceus vs the Staff of Asclepius

The Caduceus depicts two entwined snakes set upon a rod, and was the ancient symbol of Hermes, the Greek god of merchants. Today, it is a common and popular symbol of the medical and allied professions.

Asclepius (an ancient greek physician who was deified as the god of medicine) is traditionally depicted as a bearded man wearing a robe that leaves his chest uncovered and holding a staff with his sacred single serpent coiled around it symbolizing renewal of youth as the serpent casts off its skin. The single serpent staff also appears on a Sumerian vase of c. 2000 B.C. representing the healing god Ningishita, the prototype of the Greek Asklepios.

The probable medical origin of the single serpent around a rod: In ancient times infection by parasitic worms was common. The filarial worm Dracunculus medinensis aka "the fiery serpent", aka "the dragon of Medina" aka "the guinea worm" crawled around the victim's body, just under the skin. Physicians treated this infection by cutting a slit in the patient's skin, just in front of the worm's path. As the worm crawled out the cut, the physician carefully wound the pest around a stick until the entire animal had been removed. It is believed that because this type of infection was so common, physicians advertised their services by displaying a sign with the worm on a stick.

My own thoughts:

It would be very interesting to see how the incorporation of Ophiuchus into the zodiac will affect life...along with the Natural Mayan Dreamspell calendar of 13 moons

To me Ophiuchus is all about Being the 13th One, no longer being one of the 12 disciples .....forgive the Christian symbology!

The Snake (You/Me and each soul of The HUman Family) is leaving its old skin behind and revealing its Truth/True Self as the Whole and Complete OneSelf.., no longer a part of but instead the Whole of The Reality, Real E-state, of One Love.

I Oneder what Ophiuchus will bring between November 30 & December 17? And remember we are still in Libra and tomorrow (23 November) we go into Scorpio for 6 days.... certainly makes a huge difference when one begins to live in this Zodiac of 13 "houses".....

# 13 is the # of ALL or NOTHING.... LIFE or DEATH...the choice is very clear with # 13, but it is a courageous choice!

So # 13 is all about going the WHOLE WAY..... no half-way house, no short straws, no half measures....

So the whole way is the One way or The Way (The Tao) of OneSelf as OneLove

So as # 13 we are Now living life as physically infinite, limitless, immortal Beings

Dear Beloved Ascending Human,

Mila received a vision to begin to interpret useful crop circles for those that are ascending in human form at this time in history. Crop circles are static pictures of key codes and fire letters emanating through photonic sources. Some crop circles are electrical or radioactive, and these will have straight lines or edges or angles unto them. Such crop circles are from other Great Central Suns and are their languages.

Your Great Central Sun hosts a magnetic language. The symbols for magnetic tones of creation are rotational or circular in nature. Earth is traversing through a diverse region of domain in the choice to re-enter the dream of the Great Central Sun. Within the “star gates” leading into entry are many languages. Earth feels blessed for all of the information made available, as many of such languages have assisted in her ascent to date.

In essence, each tone and symbol provided unto earth by the Great Central Sun(s) and through each star gate entered is captured within the aurora. The symbols rotate. Earth then tries each symbol to see if the rotation fosters ascension of her field or portions of her field or not. Those symbols that fail to foster ascension are discarded and erased. Those that foster ascension are embraced as a part of earth’s new “operating system” or language.

I have just completed reading this writing of Karen Danrich's and all I can say is that it is magnificent.... ever so profound and I highly recommend all those who are seriously embracing ascension, to read it......the choice is always your's however.

In various circles of discusson, we've been talking of activating 144 strands of DNA, but here 36,000 strands of DNA are being spoken of.... and I am sure that there are more than that even when the information is accessed......afterall we are Beings of Infinite Potential....

Here I will be reporting on 5th dimensional information & light technologies, quantum concepts, instruction on advanced living and anything that will support the conscious co-creation of an enlightened society.

With the help of the starbeings I will be transcribing highlights on advanced civilizations...(how they live and function in higher consciousness)...that circumvent the ways of old and give perspective to the ways in which the new earth socieities will prosper.

The 6th Night & The New Cycle of Time

A Shift in Time

For several days now and into the new time matrix you will be experiencing shifts on all levels of your being-ness. You may be noticing that the time in your mind and body do not necessarily correlate with the time on earth...you may be experiencing intermitten portals of eternity, moments by which time seems to extend into infinity, coupled with a drop back into 3d dimensional perceptions of polarization and time that is rapidly speeding up.

This fluctuation is normal and to be expected for the actual time of the planet is shifting into greater awareness of universal time. All who participate on the new universal timeline will be consciously affected by this transition while anchoring more permanently into infinity time, or neutral scalar wave patterning.


Most of these changes are being prompted by the entrance into the galactic 6th night, as documented in the sacred Mayan calendar, however the portal of 11:11:11 is precipitating the shift required to align with the new frequencies of the 9th level of the galactic underworld and time-coded experience.

The most important thing to realize from this recent shift is that the amount of time that you work with presently is only a fraction of the real time encodement that you will be working with in the future. This is why you are seemingly able to accomplish great tasks in short periods of recorded time on clear days of alignment with the new timeline, and on days of wading thru 3d dimensional polarity consciousness, time escapes you.

What is happening on a higher level is profound. Let us explain.

The earth and sun are rotating at rates that are unfamiliar to earth scientists at present. There is a shift in the rotation from the solar sun to the great central sun which will change the course of history and time as it is presently understood.

This time shift precipitates the shift in consciousness that will begin to transmit new frequencies to the planet and her people and will cause for a great stir in the global community. This information is such that most scientists will have already disregarded their theories of time and space which will consequently open the doorway to more expanded concepts than the present linear understandings.

In this transition, there is a centrifuge of energy that will begin to disrupt the earths electromagnetic field. This magnetic field is one of great importance to the human populace for it holds the realm of information in place that connects individual human thought to the central mainframe of global consciousness.

The ramifications of this galactic shift will be heralded as miraculous, however, there will be some confusion as to why the earths magnetic field is changing. There will of course be talk of pole shifts, by which this is not the case, however there IS a field of energy dynamics that will alter the magnitude of the poles temporarily. As the earth comes to rely upon the full radiance of the great central sun, this shift will eventually end the earths reliance upon the solar sun as we know it, while simultaneously precipitating a dimensional parting of holographic reality matrices.

The Separation of Realities

The prophesied time for the separation of realities has been talked about in various spiritual circles and communities of new thought, however, is mostly misunderstood. The separation of worlds as you will come to experience, is not a physical separation, but a separation in consciousness. This will however lead to a seeming segregation of sorts, in that the communities of like mind will begin to come together, rather they will gravitate toward one another. As this happens, those who are operating on the new timeline, that of the emanations from the great central sun, will begin to step fully into their ascended or Christed consciousness.

Earth is shifting in this manner so it can effectively spin out the proper vibrational outputs and filter levels of consciousness in groups for the purposes of coming together and creating a new earth. In the interim, there will be a period of transition and it will be for the new galactic-centered wayshowers, those of ascended consciousness and activated divine blueprints who will lead the next level brigades, or groups of awakening souls, into their proper vibrational vortices.

This means gatherings of many kinds... the gathering of awakened heart-centered souls who will come together for the purposes of reuniting in the physical, but also for the purposes of easing the transition for the next wave of awakening souls. It will also be a time of gathering for the new wave of warrior souls here to dismantle the next level of outworn systems, as well as the reuniting of many twin souls, either thru existing relationships or new relationships. In either case, these relationships will feel well worn and it will be clear that you have come together to create a cosmic wave of love of and source connectivity to ripple out into the universe thru the purified vibrations of bliss.

Birthing the New Children

Through the 11:11:11 gateway portal, and the merging of masculine and feminine energy codes within the high heart, the time will arrive for many twin souls to activate the sacred triad of evolving consciousness thru unification, procreation and the birth of highly evolved souls to enter the new galactic time zone. This act of procreation will be the result of a much higher level of love and those with new earth contracts to serve through child rearing will now begin to fully align with this knowing on all levels and as the awareness is activated with great desire in the coming days.

Keep in mind that those who have contracted to serve humanity in this way will come in all forms, not just in the traditional sense. If you are one who has been called to participate in birthing or raising the new children, know that many miracles will align to make the impossible, possible.

For those who are more likely to procreate in the traditional sense, there will be support available thru non-traditional, or alternative modalities that will be coming into your awareness to provide a source of comfort and guidance on conscious parenting and how to support and nurture these highly evolved souls both thru pregnancy and child rearing. For some, this will be a well understood and natural process, but for many, assistance will be needed, and therefore available.

We would also like to make it known that the first wave of wayshowers will be entering into a much needed time of respite and will therefore require some downtime to bask and nurture themselves and each other prior to the consideration of extending their immediate family. Please realize that if you are being called to parent, the timing for each evolved soul to enter the world is unique and based on the firm foundation of new earth supports in and around the hosts' sphere.

This is not to say that you will be experiencing a lag time, quite contrarily, you will be experiencing time to play in the new earth energies, to master the manifestation of your full potential as fully embodied souls and to nourish the richness of your new life and new beginnings. On this we say...keep abreast of your desires, those things that feel good to you in each moment, and you will know well your every next step.

Building the New Earth

We would now like to quickly touch upon the roles of those of you here to begin building the new earth communities and structures and to inform each of you that the time for gathering is nigh.

The next several months and into the new Gregorian calendar year will be for those of you on the new galactic time line to begin meeting with and preparing to implement your gifts of expertise.

For those who have a role to play in bridging the new earth reality structures with the old paradigm structures, you will be nudged to begin the preparations and groundwork for the new systems of light... from the planning stages to the implementation and building stages. Those of you with activated contracts are here to provide those ideas and revolutionary concepts that you have been nurturing to those who are ready to step outside of linear thinking and into the new ways of quantum creation.

As the old systems begin to crumble more rapidly, you will be called upon, thru seemingly serendipitous meetings and events, to share your ideas and radiance with those who will be supporting you in your endeavors.

The first of which will be the construction of physical way stations, intermediate plans for existing structures and systems to weave into the integrated systems of interconnectivity and based on the concept of wholism. This time period will be confusing at best and many will require your spiritual mastery along with your masterful skill to implement these new systems of dependence as the earth shifts from polar to non-polarized living.

Interconnectivity and unity consciousness will be the way of the new earth and the path that all those who wish to rise to the occasion must follow. There are strong advocates for many systems of sustainable living that are ripe and ready for the implementation phase, for those of you who have been waiting for the green light, your plans are soon to be welcomed with open arms.

It is also noteworthy to mention that the ways of sustainability will be vast and varied, and each system design will depend wholly on the creators who envision them. It is not a future of homogenization and sameness at the fore, but a future of infinite possibility based solely on human imagination. In this way, earth will eventually become a magical sphere of pure potentiality and creative expression. DNA ~ AN AWARENESS, NOT A BIOLOGICAL CONCEPT

Is it 2 strands, or 12 strands, 144 or an infinite number? Is it such at all?

Science would have us believe that our DNA is what enables our evolution as a human species, but is that not of the old matrix as a biological concept?

We are told more and more that all that we have perceived and experience based upon linear time frame is an illusion, that the 3D material life does not exist, that it is not real.....

If this is so, perhaps the biological concept of DNA as that which enables our evolution is not real either! Just another part of the illusion. For to have strands and numbers of strands requiring activations are in and of themselves limiting concepts.

More and more I am concluding that what we have learnt of the DNA is impractical and unnecessary in the new free energies which are moving us through this shift of the ages.

We hear of DNA activations being required to wake us up to the next level of awareness of ever-expanding experience,

I have never found it necessary to activate anything. Whatever is required occurs naturally. Such is our inheritance as Divine Sovereigns.

Simplicity is the essence of my journey now, not complicated processes to take me to where I already am, where I have always been in fact!

That journey to No Where is redundant. Instead the journey is Now Here, right where IAM!

All is a natural progression to One's continual expansion of Infinite Being.

DNA is an awareness, a Divine Natural Awareness of One's Divinity, of One's Sovereign Beingness, of One's Authentic Self as the Creator Source of One's Life as Love.

A realisation that IAM Enough, IAM all that I require as The One and Only IAM we each are.

Moving deeper into this awareness is a natural process with nothing to do as One realises more and more One's Infinite Beingness, a Self-realisation of One's Divine Natural Awareness.

Infinite Potential abounds in limitless proportions in this space of Eternal Being. IAM not a 2 strand being, or a 12 strand being or even a 144 strand being. IAM limitless in awareness of Being an Infinite Creation.

No more old matrix strand-structure of limiting numbers.

Instead rather a conscious shift in awareness that is naturally divine.

THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

In July 1969, Apollo 11's Mike Collins found himself circling the moon many times in the Command Module while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were transported to the moon's surface in the Lunar Module. They then spent time there walking on the moon and doing various activities as they were required to do.

Neil and Buzz were in the in the full glare of the public eye in all their procedures on the moon while Mike Collins continued on his alone journey front-side and back-side of the moon till the on-moon-surface procedures were complete.

Mike Collins spent many hours totally alone while on the dark-side/backside of the moon for in this space he had absolutely no contact with earth or any other human being. He was totally alone with himself. How do you think he must have felt?

Back in 1969, I was fairly newly married, aged just 21, and still adapting to my new status. To understand at that time what it must have been like to not be in contact with anyone except Self would have incomprehensible to me. Now it is a totally different story.

I was recently reading about the lives of these 3 astronauts and how their journey to the moon in 1969 afffected each of their futures and it seems that Mike Collins is the one who has fared the best and "survived" life with relative ease.

Armstrong and Aldrin have each, in their own way, been challenged by the experience to the extent that I feel they consider their lives stopped on July 20 1969.....for when you have walked on the moon, at such a young age as they were, what is there left to accomplish? At least in the materialistic approach to life!

Mike Collins, on the other hand it seems, has lived a very rewarding life while it seems that Armstrong and Aldrin rather consider themselves "failures"... no such thing exists of course for it is really just a state of mind.

So it is Mike Collins' experience I wish to focus upon here.

All those hours totally ALONE with himSelf on the dark side of the moon with NO contact with any other human must have had a huge impact upon his person, his soul, his being.

In my own present phase of my journey, I definitely have, at this present moment in time, a preference for little physical contact with other humans unless it is at of own behest.

My life is so very simple with few possessions and requirements. I have no direct phone contact (that is a deliberate choice) and only those I choose to share such information with, know exactly where I am. I am not in hiding in any way, but I do prefer to be alone for now and love my own company beyond all else.

Having been an "out there" person for so long(I am 62), over the past couple of years it has been such a joy to just be with mySelf as far as humanly possible. The living environment I have created for mySelf is ever so conducive to this. I am responsible for and accountable to mySelf alone and, with no dependencies, am free to come and go as I please.

This has given me the pleasurable opportunity of going DEEP within mySelf and enjoy Be(com)ing who IAM at the deepest depths of my Being. A dark side of the moon experience to some extent perhaps, although I acknowledge that such is not fully possible at this time.

Yet still I would love to experience what Mike Collins did even if just for a short while. No, not a trip to the moon but perhaps in a place/space away from all human contact as far as possible, beyond where I am now, just being with me to fully explore Self and It's infinite potential. Presently I could not think of anything grander.

Of course it is not necessary, but it is still a choice I would love to experience. One is never alone of course for all life is interconnected as most of us now know. Yet there is this inner yearning to experience Oneness as OneSelf, fully and wholly and completely.

To do such would, to me, be an ultimate human experience of Self Love. Rather like the experience Collins had those years ago. A dark side of the moon experience, where One is totally alone, I imagine would be a great opportunity for One to Be totally in One's own Self-experience. Here I feel The Unknown One would become The One Known. What a magnificent thought!

Creators we are, so I fully expect such an opportunity to prevail in due process in whatever way the universe brings forth.

Enoch, Elijah, and Melchizedek

Inevitably, those who have mastered Physical Immortality, who have truly made the Word Flesh, have faced persecution, have sometimes had to fake their own death, and have had to withdraw from full public participation in the culture of their respective communities and nations. However, we are at the end of the old Aeon and at the dawn of the New. At every such major planetary change, all ideas undergo revaluation. Many conventions are overthrown, certain old ideas become useless, and new ideas suddenly become useful. Physical immortality is the most useful new - yet extremely ancient - idea now available as we enter the New Aquarian Aeon.

Enoch

Enoch is considered the oldest physically Immortal being in our Western Tradition. His bodily Translation is mentioned in Genesis and Hebrews in the New Testament. He is thought by many 20th century esoteric writers to have been an Atlantean at the time of his attainment. Some say that Enoch later appeared in ancient Egypt as Thoth-Hermes. He is also associated with Idris in Snowdonia in Wales. When Immortals do reappear in different cultures and eras, they often are known by a different name. Within the Celtic Arthurian tradition, I believe Enoch to be very much alive and active and working through the Merlin archetype.

Elijah

Elijah is the most prominent Immortal in Jewish esoteric traditions. There are many reports of him materializing in the Flesh to devout Hassidic Rabbis in Eastern Europe. All masters of Cabala claim to have mastered their Art from face-to-face meetings with Elijah. True Cabala is always an oral tradition passed from Immortal to student. Devout Jews knew, and know today, that Elijah is Physically Immortal and capable of walking in through the door and taking his seat at the Passover Feast. The tradition of leaving an empty chair for Elijah at Passover was copied in the Arthurian Grail Romances. An empty seat is left for the Knight who is destined to find and Master the Holy Grail. In both cases, the person who fills the chair plays a key role in the establishment of Physical Immortality on the earth.

Melchizedek (Mel-key-ze-dek)

Melchizedek is one of the most ancient Immortals mentioned in the Bible. He is elevated to incorruptibility through the writings of Paul in the New Testament. In the letter to the 'Hebrews' in the New Testament we find the following useful information on Melchizedek:

Melchizedek... has no father,
No mother, no lineage;
His years have no beginning,
His life no end.
He is like the Son of God:
He remains a Priest
For All Time.


Charles Fillmore and Immortality

Along with his wife, Myrtle, Fillmore founded the Unity Church in the 1890's. He wrote many books and articles, which can be obtained from Unity Church bookshops in most large cities in the U.S.A. Fillmore was an extraordinary Immortalist. He was lecturing to large outdoor gatherings of thousands in the 1930's. He regenerated one of his legs to full length, after he passed the age of 60. Fillmore thought that he was the reincarnation of Paul. Whether or not we give ideas such as reincarnation any credence, it is certain that Fillmore evolved Paul's brilliant immortalist ideas to new levels of clarity and power.

The Fillmore teachings on Physical Immortality are scattered throughout all of his writings. Unfortunately, he never wrote one book solely on the subject. A friend of mine, Thomas Horvai, compiled an excellent study of Fillmore's writings on the subject, called "Immortality Now". As this book is hard to find, we may, in the future, provide excerpts from it on this web site.

Almost every American teacher of Physical Immortality has been influenced by Charles Fillmore, whether they like to admit it, or not. Mr. De Vorss was the Unity book person working with Fillmore. Then he founded his own publishing company which has printed the Annalee Skarin books and the novels and essays of Spalding - The Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East. (It is vital to remind everyone that these books are pure fiction. Spalding did not travel to India until after his books had become bestsellers in the 1920's.)

Charles Fillmore was a vegetarian, and became younger every year, well into his 90's. He took up fish eating around the age of 94, and suddenly died. He is a major historical figure in the New Thought Movement, which originated with Emerson and Thoreau. Like most New Thought Immortalists, he died, as thought is not the primary key to Physical Immortality. Nevertheless, seek out Fillmore's influential writings, as they contain much of great value to the Immortal pathway.


Fulcanelli

Author of Mysteries of the Cathedrals, and other works, Fulcanelli is an Immortal 20th century alchemist. Born around 1877, he becomes difficult to find during the 1930's. The famous book, The Morning of the Magicians, by Pauwels and Bergier, brought this Immortal to the attention of many. Bergier claimed to have met Fulcanelli in 1937. Eugene Canseliet was Fulcanelli's main alchemical disciple. The Surrealists, including Andre Breton, admired Fulcanelli's works. Armand Barbault and Rene Alleau, writers on alchemy, were both inspired by him.

Fulcanelli is an expert on the magickal symbolisms of the great Gothic cathedrals of Europe. He is part of an Immortal Alchemical tradition that has been in existence for many centuries. To find the Philosopher's Stone, or to change lead into gold, is to attain Physical Immortality. A number of alchemists have accomplished this. The Fulcanelli Phenomenon, by Kenneth Raynor Johnson, is the most extensive biography available.

Visit the great cathedrals of Europe, and walk through the old Gothic quarters of the major cities. If you see a man of indeterminate age, with eyes beholding the infinite sublime, and a subtle smile on his face, it may be Fulcanelli.


Roger Bacon


Bacon was born around 1214 AD, at the base of the Virgo figure in the Glastonbury Landscape Zodiac, in the village of Ilchester, Somerset. He was a Franciscan monk, a scientist, and an alchemist. He believed that principles of spiritual purification, herbs, and planetary influences could be used to create the Elixir of Life within the human body. Certain traditions say he was successful in this quest, and is alive today. There is an uncertainty about the supposed year of his "death". Often, this is a clue that we may be dealing with an Immortal: Confusion about the year of their death; no grave; or no body in the grave. Bacon disappears somewhere after 1292 AD.

Bacon worked in Oxford and Paris, and produced many writings. His activities brought him into conflict with the authorities of his era, and he spent time in prison. Pope Clement IV supported Bacon's work for a number of years. 300 years after his disappearance, around the time of Shakespeare, Roger Bacon had come to symbolise the archetypal magician and alchemist. The 20th century Immortalist writer, Annalee Skarin, regarded him as one of the great Immortals. His life has stimulated the imaginations of several 20th century novelists. There are two outstanding novels about Bacon that are worth tracking down: The Brazen Head, by John Cowper Powys; and Doctor Mirabilis, by James Blish.

Among the special abilities attributed to Bacon were bodily teleportation, and the power to expand or contract the subjective experience of time. One thing is certain: Roger Bacon devoted all his efforts towards the attainment of physical immortality. May his dedication to the Great Work inspire others to devote themselves to the same goal.


Linda Goodman and Immortality

This popular astrologer introduced many to the idea of physical immortality, due to the huge sales of her book, Star Signs. She had the idea, but she didn't have a good grasp of the basic principles. She died at the age of 70 in 1995, after a period of ill-health, due to diabetes.

Whenever a prominent Immortalist, such as Goodman, dies, it is always a useful practice to look for the reasons. Which Immortal principles were not mastered? In her case, two things are clearly evident: 1. It is essential to be at least a vegetarian at the start of your Immortal journey. Goodman told people to keep eating the flesh of dead animals for a 5 year transition period. If you have compassion for other beings, and respect the right to life for all other beings, then your body can free itself from a dependency upon the death of others quite quickly. 2. She did not respect the life of the unborn child. Every form of life is sacred. All true Immortals have taken the vow to preserve, and enhance, all life. Like him, or not, Pope John Paul II has very good ethics. Read his book, The Gospel of Life.

Physical Immortality is the road to perfect health. Respect the Will for life in all other beings, without exceptions. Some people are very spiritual, but have bad diets. Other people have very refined diets, but are a spiritual mess. Upon the road to Immortal Health, always keep spiritual and dietary progress in balance. Don't let one get too far ahead of the other. Master the art of perfect health. Every being desires to live. Your own personal health is dependent upon you respecting that universal desire. The universe is doing its best to evolve an ever-greater abundancy of life for all beings. Every Immortal is united with this Work and Will.



Saint Germain

Mystery upon mystery surrounds the Comte de Saint Germain. His adventures in Europe are well-documented in the 18th century. Where he was before, and after, that time is open to much speculation. Horace Walpole, who wrote the first great gothic novel, The Castle of Otranto, observed St. Germain in London in 1743. By 1748, he had become an advisor to King Louis XV, and undertook several secret missions for him. Always, this Immortal takes an interest in politics. In 1762, in St. Petersburg, he helped to place Catherine II on the Russian throne.

The Italian magician, Cagliostro, knew St. Germain, and was given the only book he wrote, The Holy Trinosophia, which is available today in an English translation. In the 18th century, many believed that St. Germain was several hundred years old. He attended many lavish banquets around Europe, but was never observed eating any food. From the late 1700's, up to the present time, many have claimed to have met him. He was supposed to have appeared at the signing of the American Declaration of Independence in 1776. Ballard supposedly met him at the planetary base chakra, Mt. Shasta, in the early 1930's.

Some say he was born in Transylvania, like an immortalist character from fiction, Dracula. There is an excellent series of novels by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, which develops this idea of St. Germain being a vampire. Hotel Transylvania is the first of this series.

Today, St. Germain is the "Aquarian Christ" to countless New Age groups. Hundreds of people, mainly in the USA, publish messages from him that they claim to "channel". This is an abuse of the Immortals. They do not speak through intermediaries. If an Immortal wants to speak to you, they will do so face to face, in the physical body. Also, there are no hierarchies among the Immortals. They are independent, unique individuals. If, occasionally, some of them meet together, it is in the spirit of the Round Table, where all are equal.

While I regard St. Germain as one of the outstanding Immortals, I urge caution: If you want to keep your feet on the ground, along the Immortal pathway, ignore the absolute plethora of "New Age" rubbish written about St. Germain. Concentrate on your own Immortal journey, and do not be distracted by such things. You have your own work to do. So leave St. Germain alone - he also has his work to do.

It is said that St. Germain has an Immortal valet, who was once asked about his employer's life in previous centuries. He said he couldn't say, as he had only been working for him for the last 100 years.


Paracelsus

Born near Basel, Switzerland in 1493, Paracelsus was an alchemist who clearly believed in physical immortality. He traveled widely, and made a deep study of minerals, plants, and animals. He utilised astrology and taught the theory of the four elements. He invented two words that are in use today: Sylph - a spirit of the air element; and undine - a spirit of the water element.

Paracelsus believed that if we could extract the quintessence, or essential essence, from all things in nature, and then combine these forces, the result would confer Everlasting Life. This idea is very similar to the mystical concept of the universal sacrament - that it is possible to receive from everything in nature, an immortal grace or elixir which can keep the body in an incorruptible state.

There is a mystery surrounding his supposed death. In 1541, at the young age of 48 he disappears from history. One tradition says he died in Salzburg, Austria, 24 September, and was buried in the churchyard of St. Sebastian. Cause of death is obscure: A night of wild drinking; his enemies throwing him off a cliff; and being poisoned by rivals are all suggested. But, perhaps he did not die, and his body was never placed in the churchyard. One immortalist tradition has him leaving Salzburg and entering a nearby forest - following an antlered white hart.

Paracelsus made many scientific and medical discoveries which are still in use today. He is regarded as the father of the subtle practice of homeopathy. He broke with many traditions - as a professor at Basel, he lectured in German, rather than Latin. Many books have been written about Paracelsus. Two classics are Life of Paracelsus, by Franz Hartmann; and A.E. Waite's The Hermetic and Alchemical Writings of Paracelsus. Did he disappear from history following the white hart? Or is he in the grave at St. Sebastian? The mystery remains... What is certain is that he had the True Will for Everlasting Life.


The Wandering Jew - Cartaphilus



The character of the Wandering Jew has fascinated many writers and artists over the centuries. Can physical immortality ever be a curse? Or is it always a blessing? Or, can the curse be turned into a blessing? The Legend of Cartaphilus, the Wandering Jew, explores these questions.

The legend begins as Jesus is on his way, carrying the cross, to his crucifixion. Cartaphilus is supposed to insult Jesus, by not letting him pause for a rest. Jesus places a curse on him, and says he will live until the Second Coming. During the Middle Ages, in Europe, this story gained wide credence. Occasionally, characters with long white beards would show up in major European cities, claiming to be the Wandering Jew. They would be quizzed by the local authorities, and either accepted or rejected.

The Flying Dutchman is a similar legend, and was used by Wagner in his opera of the same name. The great German writer, Heinrich Heine, also wrote about this character. It was Heine's work which inspired Wagner.

The Wandering Jew, by the French writer, Eugene Sue, is the most famous novel based on this tradition. It was a bestseller in the 1840's, and is available today in reprint editions. Perhaps the most entertaining Wandering Jew novels are those written in the 20th century by George Sylvester Viereck and Paul Eldridge, from 1929 to 1932. In order, they are:

Salome: The Autobiography of the Wandering Jewess
Invincible Adam

These are classics of Immortalist fiction, and should be reprinted in paperback, with modern covers. Bestsellers in their day, translated into several languages, they can be found in second-hand book searches. There are 3 main Immortals in the story, and we hear the tale of their last 2000 years told from each of their viewpoints.

What is really great about this version is that the curse is gradually changed into a blessing. If Jesus did return, Cartaphilus will choose to remain Immortal because he truly enjoys living. If you enjoy Immortalist fiction, don't rest until you get a hold of these books. Hopefully, it won't take you 2000 years to find a complete set.

Annalee Skarin

b. 7 July 1899 - d. 17 January 1988

Recent research undertaken suggests that Annalee Skarin and her husband, Reason, may have carried out one of the greatest hoaxes of the 20th century. This is substantiated by a thorough study of the Hope Hilton Collection at the Marriott Library in Utah and a visit to their graves. While claiming to have achieved everlasting life, it is evident that both Annalee and Reason are well and truly dead.

It is vital, in the world of physical immortality, to be able to distinguish between the living and the dead. We must apply Annalee's own high standards to her own situation: In immortality you take your body with you, you don't put it in the grave. Reason and Annalee are buried in public cemeteries in northern California. They are not buried together. Anyone who is sufficiently interested in this can visit their burial sites.

What about faked deaths? Aren't immortals notorious for this? Yes - but not in this case. Annalee survived her husband by several years, and was in ill-health for about three years prior to her demise, the last two of which were spent in hospital. She was treated by a doctor during that time. Reason died from age-related causes. Immortals who fake their deaths normally do so suddenly, and from a state of apparent good health. Although Annalee made an effort to hide the reality of her own death from the public (her death is registered under one of her many aliases), the facts are now available for anyone to examine. Also, faked deaths are widely publicised - Analee and Reason went out of their way to hide their whereabouts in death and life.

If a teacher, guru, or loved one dies - in particular, one who claims to be immortal - all too often there is an attempt to deny the event. If we have a deep dependency upon another human, we devise some scenario wherein our immortal lives on. In physical immortality, it is essential to not make your own immortality dependent upon the success or failures of others. Master the laws of everlasting life. Don't get involved in personality cults. From their own points of view, the least interesting thing in an immortal's life is their own immortality. Someday physical immortality will be recognized as an aspect of normality, and it won't need to be talked about. Until then, be self-reliant and follow your own eternal nature.

It is perhaps too early to say what influence Annalee Skarin's immortalist writings will have on the world. It is likely that she will be placed alongside other American New Thought immortalist writers, such as Charles Fillmore, who lived and died in the 20th Century. For those of you who have been inspired by Annalee's books - as I have - I would advise you to go back and read them all again, this time, with the understanding that the author is dead. (Annalee is also the true author of Sons of God written under the pen name Christine Mercie. Annalee and her husband feature as major characters in this book.)

Most of this world's profound wisdom can be found in the creations of people who have died. Often, Immortals are individuals of few words. Occasionally they may say something original and intelligent - take The Tao Te Ching by the Immortal Lao Tzu for example.

Immortal wisdom is not the sole province of the immortals - in reality, it is quite to the contrary. Adopt and advance the Immortal principles which you discover in Annalee Skarin's books, or from any other source, and ignore the elements which don't lead you to greater life. To me, the most important teachings that Annalee Skarin has to give in her writings are these: You will progress most rapidly upon the Immortalist Pathway if you dedicate yourself to developing the qualities of Praise, Love, and Joyful Thanksgiving.There are eternal truths to be found in her books, which if mastered, will lead to everlasting life in the physical body. This is certain. What is also certain is that she and her husband did not fully master these laws in their own lives.


Immortals Among Us



People sometimes ask, “Where are the immortals? Why don’t they show themselves if they exist?”

The truth is, immortals do show themselves, but they are never recognized as being immortal. People, in the course of their normal everyday lives, have encounters with immortals all the time without realising it.

Physical immortality is about the perfection of service. Immortals are the Divine Universal Intelligence, or God, in action. Now and then, service may mean heeding the call of a soul in crisis. Assistance arrives, but without glamour or display, in a manner appropriate to the person and circumstance.

Most often when someone is confronted by an immortal at such a time, the experience is attributed to a visit from an “angel”.Study carefully the accounts of people who have reportedly been helped by angels and you will find that certain similarities exist. The ‘angel’ is most often a fully, in-the-flesh, solid human being. In many cases the angel appears from out of nowhere, and disappears in similar fashion when the task is complete. The angel says little, if anything at all, but knows exactly what is needed to help the individual in his or her time of difficulty.

In other instances an Immortal’s presence may be felt by a person without him or her witnessing any visible signs. The person may have a strong sense that he or she is not alone, a sense of warmth and safety, that “everything is going to be okay”, or even be aware of the scent of beautiful perfume. All immortals have a divine fragrance, most prominent when they are invisible. This eternal perfume arises from the perfection of various immortal virtues. Each virtue can be likened to a note, that can be translated into sound or fragrance. The notes together make a symphony of music or perfume, unlike anything else.

Perfected virtues act like the divine ichor of the gods, liberating the heart of all matter it comes in contact with throughout its never-ending journey. Immortals are pure mirrors of our highest dreams and purposes.

We will *see* them when our own Immortal Nature is Perfectly Revealed


Immortals of Avalon

Avalon is another name for the hidden realm of the Immortals.

Joseph of Arimathea

Joseph of Arimathea established the Archetype of the Holy Grail in Glastonbury when he took the Cup of the Last Supper from Old Jerusalem with him to Glastonbury, New Jerusalem, in 37 AD. He recognized the amazing resemblance between Mt. Tabor - where Jesus first immortalised - and Glastonbury Tor. Joseph, himself, immortalised 100 metres from New Ditch earthwork, south of the town of Street in Somerset. As the first keeper of the Holy Grail, in Arthurian legends he often materialises to knights who are pure in heart and Questing the Holy Grail. Some versions of Arthurian legends make Sir Galahad, who becomes immortal after finding the Holy Grail, a descendant of Joseph of Arimathea.

Joseph, a wealthy tin merchant, travelled regularly to Britain from the Middle East. On several occasions he is said to have brought his great-nephew, the boy Jesus, with him. It was Joseph of Arimathea who built the world's first openly Christian church. Previously, Christianity was practised underground in secret out of fear of persecution. The druids of ancient Britain knew of his impending arrival and welcomed him. Joseph of Arimathea's feast day is the same as St Patrick's.

A medieval prophecy of Melkin from the Middle Ages states that when the mystery of Joseph of Arimathea's tomb is revealed to the world, then paradise or peace will come to the whole world. The answer to this mystery is twofold: 1. Joseph of Arimathea gave up his own tomb for Jesus to be placed in it after the crucifixion. The tomb became the Womb of Resurrection. 2. In Glastonbury, Somerset, Joseph of Arimathea has no tomb because he did not die - the Science of Everlasting Life is the secret to be revealed to world...




Mary
Mary, mother of Jesus, attained physical immortality and the Art of Body Translation at Glastonbury. Body translation is the ability to materialise, dematerialise and teleport the physical body at will. This gaining of eternal life and its resulting personal liberty is the Great Truth of the Holy Grail, the Philosopher's Stone, the Elixir of Life - the Truth made Flesh at the completion of the alchemical Great Work.

The Reverend L.S. Lewis, Vicar of St. John's in the 1920's, and several other writers on Glastonbury correctly hypothesized that Mary spent her last mortal years at Glastonbury. What they failed to grasp is the fact that she did not die here. Rather, she was - in the true meaning of the phrase - "born again" and fulfilled the promise that "Ye shall be raised from mortality and uplifted into the vibration of a translated being of Light and Total Freedom to come and go at the speed of love as ye Will." On this point the Roman Catholics came very close to the truth when they ratified the doctrine of the Bodily Assumption of Mary in the early 1950's. When Mary appeared in Garabandal, Spain in 1961 she had the physical body of an 18 year old - not too shabby for someone about 2000 years old. The 70th anniversary of Mary's materialisation at Fatima, Portugal - May 13th 1987 - was an excellent opportunity to increase the world's awareness of this Truth of physical immortality, for this event coincided with the Wesak Full Moon of that year. The Wesak - Scorpio Full Moon is the most spiritually potent day of the lunar year. On this day the Church of the First Born/the Immortals of Avalon/Shambhalla/Penglai Shan/Pulaki - the company of all physically immortal beings - generates its love and blessings for the new solar cycle that culminates on the following Easter. Easter of 1988 was additionally graced by the powerful Saturn-Uranus conjunctions of that year. Unique in its magickal intensity was the triple union of Mars, Saturn and Uranus in February of '88. The energies released by these interplanetary configurations abundantly clarified the spiritual and scientific laws of Immortality for large masses of people. Within the star map of the Glastonbury Zodiac, these events culminated over the figure of Arthur...

Mary's Translation opened the heart chakra that is Glastonbury to a wider dimension. All prophecies point to a similar and greater event happening at Glastonbury in the near future...




Merlin
Callanish on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides is sacred to Merlin. Merlin is in the Enoch-Hermes-Elijah lineage of Immortal Masters. In the prophetic pattern of the Glastonbury Zodiac, Arthur Returns first, then Merlin enters the world again. This means that first, humanity must improve the world situation and increase peace and respect for Life. When these forces associated with Arthur (social harmony) are strong enough, then Merlin and the other Immortals of the Company of Avalon begin to enter the public awareness.




Morgan le Fay
Maes Howe is the ancient home of Morgan le Fay, physically Immortal Queen of Avalon.


King Arthur
King Arthur and the Grail Knights, Sir Galahad and Sir Perceval are considered immortals. It was to the Immortal Isle of Avalon that King Arthur was taken to be healed of his wounds.

In the Arthurian dynamics of the Glastonbury Zodiac, the Knight has two tasks: First he or she must find the lost Excalibur and restore it to Arthur. Arthur returns to the Earth to receive this Sword. The second task is to find the Holy Grail. The point of Excalibur may be found touching the heart of the star Sirius in the landscape north of Somerton. The location of Excalibur within the Glastonbury Zodiac was revealed to me during the culmination of Saturn conjunct Pluto in Libra, in November of 1982. The hilt of this sword is on the heart chakra of the Gemini figure, at Lollover Hill, in Dundon village. The blade crosses the river Cary at the Druid Stone Ford, an ancient site.




Roger Bacon
Roger Bacon was born around 1214 AD, at the base of the Virgo figure in the Glastonbury Landscape Zodiac, in the village of Ilchester, Somerset. He was a Franciscan monk, a scientist, and an alchemist. He believed that principles of spiritual purification, herbs, and planetary influences could be used to create the Elixir of Life within the human body. Certain traditions say he was successful in this quest, and is alive today. There is an uncertainty about the supposed year of his "death". Often, this is a clue that we may be dealing with an Immortal: Confusion about the year of their death; no grave; or no body in the grave. Bacon disappears somewhere after 1292 AD.

Bacon worked in Oxford and Paris, and produced many writings. His activities brought him into conflict with the authorities of his era, and he spent time in prison. Pope Clement IV supported Bacon's work for a number of years. 300 years after his disappearance, around the time of Shakespeare, Roger Bacon had come to symbolise the archetypal magician and alchemist. The 20th century Immortalist writer, Annalee Skarin, regarded him as one of the great Immortals. His life has stimulated the imaginations of several 20th century novelists. There are two outstanding novels about Bacon that are worth tracking down: The Brazen Head by John Cowper Powys; and Doctor Mirabilis by James Blish.

Among the special abilities attributed to Bacon were bodily teleportation, and the power to expand or contract the subjective experience of time. One thing is certain: Roger Bacon devoted all his efforts towards the attainment of physical immortality. May his dedication to the Great Work inspire others to devote themselves to the same goal.

Physical Immortality is mastery of the Art of Living. The Immortal Art can only be mastered through a complete embrace of the present instant. Right now, the universe is offering you the sacrament of Everlasting Life. Find the Holy Grail, and you are Immortal. Do not be thrown from your pathway by regret for anything from the past, or by fear of anything in the future. Immortality is experienced in the everchanging perfection of the now. Receive the deep blessing of your present experience, and the present instant will expand into the greater possibilities of the eternal now. Time is very different for Immortals.

Movement through space also changes for an Immortal. It is possible to always be at the right place at the right time. Bless all things. What do Immortals do? Really, only one thing: They bless all beings and all pathways, without any judgements. Yet each Immortal does this blessing in his or her own unique, creative way.

You can not be physically immortal, if you try to base your immortality upon the death of other beings. For this reason, in every case history of physical immortality, you find there is a continuing experimentation with sources of nutrition. Immortals, because their hearts are continually opening, develop a great compassion for the right of all beings to live. Vegetarianism is a minimal requirement for true physical immortality. Advanced immortals learn to live on even less - fruit, or the energies of love which pervade all things.

Physical Immortality is about Liberty. This is a key signpost for you to keep track of. At every step of your way into greater, more abundant life, you should be gaining greater individual freedom. Physical Immortality is about the overcoming of restrictions, barriers, yes - and the eventual overcoming of physical death.

If you praise the Immortal Presence with a fire in your heart at all times; if you devote yourself to giving and receiving the nutrition of love in all situations; and if you embrace every experience of your life, without exception, with total joyous thanksgiving, then, in time, the atoms and cells of your body will raise their energies and alter their structures, until spirit and matter are one. At this point, you are Immortal, and have the liberty to come and go as the wind, in your physical body.

The Joys, or Fruits, of Everlasting Life are all experienced as you live your life, in each Immortal instant. The only proof of Physical Immortality is from your own experiences of its Way. Live the Life of Immortal Magick - and enjoy!

Since the dawn of Creation, the Divine has patiently looked for ways and means to bring forth the Truth of Everlasting Life. What is your highest ideal or wish for yourself and this universe? Dreams in harmony with highest Truth come True. A new Universe is born...

Every individual has an absolutely unique purpose, or True Will. Only you can discover what that True Will is. The purpose of Life is to discover this True Will, and then to manifest it. Both the discovery and the manifestation are eternal processes, with no beginning and no end. The only Right, or Liberty, you have is to "do" your True Will to the best of your ability. This is the Great Work. Dedicate yourself to doing your True Will and the creative intelligence everywhere present in the universe supports you in the fulfilment of your dedication. Every experience of your Life in the here and now is given to you for the illumination and fulfilment of your True Will.

Somewhere in the New Testament you will find a passage where the prophet Jesus is talking about what happens to your mobility once you have recreated yourself through the second alchemical birth of fire. When you've eliminated entropy from your self, then you gain the ability "to come and go as the wind, so that no one knows from where you have come, or to where you go." If you make a thorough study of comparative religion and the great mystical traditions, you will find many stories and myths and legends throughout the world about Immortals who travel like the wind and don't use doors.

In its infinite wisdom, the universe does not create or repeat anything twice. If you see that what's happening to you right now will never be repeated, then your enjoyment of the preciousness of this instant will geometrically progress forever. All events are non-repeatable and are open to anyone at any time. If you like the idea of a strange man, or a strange woman, suddenly appearing in your room - without using the door - then it's likely to happen when you least expect it to. It's more fun if you can't predict it in advance. Orthodox Jews make a space in their reality for such a situation: they leave an empty chair for Elijah at the Passover meal. Make sure you design your reality system so that unexpected change is always welcomed and cherished as the honoured guest.

Every overcoming, every manifestation of Body Translation, is rapidly accelerating the Full Flowering of your Star's Perfection... For you to Manifest this Truth - That Is the Great Work! You are a Star Shining in the Heart of Heaven... Most Holy is Your Victory!

Every world saviour is born in a miraculous and immaculate way. As a prospective Messiah, You were born in such a felicitous manner. Your present incarnation is the perfect time to become an Immortal. When you ascend, you uplift the entire world also. It is your responsibility to Immortalize this earth and thus to establish Paradise.

The most powerful form of prayer is to joyfully thank the Divine for having already given and established that which you desire. The True Will for physical immortality is inscribed within every atom of your being. Do you believe this to be possible? Do you Know this to be True? Dare to frequently affirm with growing confidence that the Word of Immortality made Flesh IS established within your own Being and within all beings!

Where and what is Heaven? Heaven is the frequency of Immortality. This frequency is everywhere present. We begin to establish Heaven on Earth through the actions of our own True Will when we recognize and honour the Truth of Bodily Translation, or the Word of Immortal Radiant Flesh established within our own Being.

Immortality is produced by the operation of simple, natural laws. Immortality produces great Change, but it is not a threat to the well-being of anyone.

We shall meet the Immortals when we are as near their frequency as possible. We who hold this Truth of Immortality to be the most precious Gift of the Divine need to do what we can to purify and strengthen our entire Being - Body, Mind, and Spirit - so that when we do encounter an Immortal, the sharing and communion of the Grail will be as balanced and as mutually beneficial as possible.

The vessel of the Grail is the Physical Body. Gratitude is the most expansive spiritual quality... a well that never runs dry. Immortal Flesh continually radiates thanksgiving from every atom and cell of the Body. To be in the presence of the Grail is to be in the physical presence of a physically Immortal human being. The image of the Grail has been used for thousands of years to project and share the Revelation of Life Abundant and Eternal. To seek the Holy Grail is to seek Physical Immortality.

In this New Aeon we are witnessing the spiritual Liberation of matter. In the old age we were wrongly taught that Liberty is obtained by escaping from matter. Contained within the Heart of all matter is the True Will for Everlasting Life. When this Will is expressed, then matter and Will are liberated.

23 -The Number of Physical Immortality

Each of the prime numbers has its own identity. 23 is the number for physical immortality, everlasting life, eternal youth, and the secret of the Holy Grail. Prime numbers are those numbers that can not be divided by any other number. Other primes: 11 is the number of magick, 13 is feminine unity, 17 is masculine unity.

The association of 23 with physical immortality has been developed in the writings of Aleister Crowley, Robert Anton Wilson, and myself. Crowley gave meaning to all the primes between 11 and 100. He felt that 23 was the frequency of the life force at its highest in nature, at the spring equinox. For mystics, immortal life is present in nature, and to find life at its highest vibration anywhere is to touch the secret of the Grail.

Wilson, who is greatly influenced by Crowley, made 23 into his supreme number for synchronicity. Be aware of 23 as it appears in your life, and it will guide you along your pathway of magick and greater life.

It seems as if the universe has mysteriously placed 23 in many locations to act as signposts for the journey. Thankfulness is the quality of physical immortality. Try to generate this virtue in every environment in which you notice the magickal prime, 23.

Why Die? The Immortalist Philosophy

It seemed appropriate, in a magazine devoted to "growing old," to discuss the philosophy of the immortalists, a group who consider that growing old is not necessary.

Immortalists believe that the physical body can theoretically be maintained and regenerated so that a youthful and healthful vitality is always apparent — and that physical immortality can be attained in this lifetime.

In this fascinating article, Julia Griffin reports on her research into immortalist philosophy, then presents her interview with Herb Bowie, author of "Why Die? A Beginner's Guide to Living Forever".

"So when . . . this mortal shall put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory." I Corinthians, 15:54-55.

Babaji is allegedly a deathless guru who bears no signs of age, appearing to be about twenty-five years old and radiating a perceptible glow.[1] In Paramahansa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi, the author relates the appearance to him of the immortal Babaji "in the flesh," and says that it was from Babaji that he learned kriya yoga and understood that he had been chosen to reveal this discipline to the Western world.

Immortalists point to Babaji and to Hindu and Tibetan tradition as a source to support their claim that immortals have existed throughout time.

According to the Bible, Christ also emphasized that his immortality was "in the flesh," not just in spirit. Christ says, "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."[2]


The "death wish"

Integral to all immortalist thought is the belief that human beings can live as long as they want to live, and that death is simply a belief taken into the mind and embraced by the ego as we observe death in our environment and about us. In this view, death is a cultural concept that we are taught throughout our lives. Because we know no better or do not know how to resist the power of this cultural belief, we move unerringly toward death and decay.

Further, as we know, many spiritual beliefs glorify death as a form of eternal rest and peace, seeing life on Earth as nothing but preparation for Heaven.

Immortalists ask whether these ideas are really valid. Do we really have to work on Earth to gain salvation in Heaven? If so, how is it that this work must always be completed in a hundred years or less? Does earthly work never extend beyond this time?[3]

Because immortalists perceive that our beliefs and the ideas that we focus on create our experience, they refer to our cultural belief in death as a "death wish." By believing that death and aging are innevitable, they say, we are in effect wishing these experiences upon ourselves. Through belief, our consciousness limits our perception of time, of our body, and of our lifespan. This limitation of mind, immortalists feel, is the single greatest obstacle to immortality.[4]


Becoming an immortalist

There are several different schools of thought about immortality, and they range from the belief that the body can be regenerated through scientific methods, such as diet, supplements, and scientific advances, to the belief that the body can attain immortality through specific spiritual exercises. There are also immortalists who combine the two streams of thought.[5]

One group of immortalist who call themselves Extropians challenge the idea that aging and death are scientifically inevitable. They believe that humanity is in a "transitory stage in the evolutionary development of intelligence . . . If man is going to extend himself through space, why not through time?"[6]

Robert Coon, writing on physical immortality, says, "In the old age we were wrongly taught that Liberty is obtained by escaping from matter. In this New Aeon we are witnessing the spiritual Liberation of matter."[7] In other words, transfiguration in this age occurs by renewing the material body, not by escaping from it.


Pathways to immortality

The 13 keys

Here are Robert Coon's 13 keys to immortality:


1. Establish a relationship with the truth. Meditate to find truth within your own heart.


2. Develop your True Will, or find out what your own True Will is.[8]


3. Pray for peace for the Earth, and for the peace of a united body and soul.


4. Focus on birth, not death. Bless the birth of every living individual, and radiate thankfulness toward the time of your own birth. Begin to think about the birth of every being on the planet, as opposed to their death.


5. Think daily about your own immortal nature. Ask yourself what is the Immortal Self, and begin to trust that. Similarly, look to see the immortal within others.


6. Use your energy for creative work: poetry, music, dancing, and other art forms.


7. Unite your spiritual powers. Learn to direct them through an Open Heart. Develop Compassion. Extend this compassion toward all creatures. Immortality cannot be built upon the death of others.


8. Purify mind, heart, body, and spirit. Train the senses to perceive the Immortal One within one's self.


9. Develop gratitude. Learn to radiate it toward others. Find the blessing that exists in the moment.


10. Master the three basic energies of praise, love, and gratitude. The frequency of the body is quickened through these energies.


11. Meditate on what life would be like through Life Abundant, if there were a society or culture built on the premise of physical immortality.


12. Ask to be an agent of the Divine Plan of creating physical immortality.


13. In committing to working toward your own physical immortality using the previous twelve steps, keep a diary, and make a record of each step toward immortality that you have successfully made.

The immortalist "diamond mind" meditation

The idea of the Diamond Mind is found in Tibetan, Buddhist, and alchemical writings. The Diamond Mind, or Way, is a form of meditation that is said to lead to physical immortality.[9]

Dorje Sempa is the Tibetan name for Diamond Mind. Through concentration on the Buddhic form, the mantras bring about a change in the body, just as mantras and a focus upon enlightenment bring about changes in speech and mind.

Practicing the Tibetan Diamond meditation simply consists of pronouncing "the hundred syllables." The practice supposedly leads to a state of "spontaneous awareness": the deep knowing within the Self that recognizes the sphere of enlightenment within the moment.

One should pronounce the words distinctly, but at the same time it is the intent and not the sound that mainly accomplishes results.[10]

The alchemical approach to immortality

Alchemy is an ancient art that is said to have originated first in Atlantis, then in Egypt (chem or Khem was the ancient name of Egypt). Alchemy was supposedly given to mankind by Hermes, an Egyptian demigod who appeared with the teachings of the Emerald Tablets.[11]

The alchemical art is related to the understanding of nature's processes. But understanding of those processes takes place between the union of the spirit and soul — beyond the linear and goal-oriented consciousness of the ego. Because of the nature of the mystery, the alchemists say, we cannot know with the logical mind what the next movement should be toward our own metamorphosis. And so for thousands of years alchemists have advised that we follow our heart and intuition in order to learn our true direction.

Alchemy uses specialized imagery to bring about the union between the psyche and the subconscious to create the "philosopher's stone" which is the immortal body. The alchemist must learn to travel through the evolutionary process of stone, plant, animal, man, stars, and Universes. One tool of the alchemists' art is the practice of Merkaba meditation.

Extropian philosophy

Max More, Ph.D., founder of the Extropian movement, focuses on space colonization, life extension and superlongevity, cognitive enhancement, and the effect of technology on the self. The extropian philosophy is also associated with cryogenics — the possibility of extending life through freezing the body a few moments after death in hopes of thawing and re-establishing life in the body in a future time.

Extropians refer to themselves as "transhumans." They view science as a tool to overcome human biological and psychological limitations, seeing technology as "a natural extension and expression of human intellect and will, of creativity, curiosity and imagination."

To Extropians, the concept of a "natural lifetime" is viewed as an absurd acceptance of a limiting constraint. They condone such future technological transformations as genetic engineering, life-extending biosciences, neural-computer integration, neuroscience, and molecular nanotechnology.[12]

For Extropians, life extension is directed towards finding ways of slowing and halting aging, and possible repair of age-induced damage. Rather than being spending a longer time in old age, their goal is to extend our active, healthy years.[13]

One Extropian view is that the future world will be ruled not by Artificial Intelligence, but by new, post-humans who are ageless and super-intelligent.[14]

Conversation with an immortalist

Herb Bowie, who granted us the following interview, has been an immortalist for the past twenty years.

Julia: How did you became an immortalist?

Herb: My wife and I were in Los Angeles attending a "Loving Relationships Therapy" class. Immortalism was one of the ideas that was introduced in the workshop, and I became interested in it.

Julia: How do you define an immortalist?

Herb: An immortalist is someone who believes that it's possible to live forever in a physical body and maintains youth and vitality.

My own belief system is somewhere between that of the Extropians, who think that physical immortality will be the outgrowth of scientific knowledge, and of the spiritual or esoteric school, that believes you can attain immortality through spirituality.

So I do read about and try to practice new scientific advances in health care. I try to have a balanced diet, exercise, and sleep adequately. I believe in incremental immortality. In other words, maybe this year I'll find a new vitamin or supplement or exercise system that will extend my life for one or two more years.

Julia: Are you a vegetarian? Some immortalists say that you shouldn't eat anything that has been killed because of the vibratory level. What are your feelings about this?

Herb: I do eat meat. I eat organic meat and vegetables — not many chemicals or additives. I just try for a balance.

Julia: Have you ever met an immortal?

Herb: No, I haven't. I haven't met an immortal, and I don't know anyone who has.

Until recently, even if you did meet someone who claimed to be an immortal, there would have been no way to prove it. Science has only recently gotten to the point that it can measure something like that.

As far as believing in immortality without proof, no one ever believed man could fly until it happened. In my mind, immortality is a concept that simply hasn't found its time.

Julia: Surrounded by death, as we all are — you see loved ones die, pets die, the seasons change — how do you continue to believe in immortality?

Herb: These things show that death does exist. But there's nothing that proves that death must exist. There is no criterion that says we must die.

But let's talk about aging for a minute. There are a number of parallel activities — for example, there are parts that wear out, like teeth, or emotional activities, like being tired — but there is no law that says we are subject to entropy, no law that says our body must wear out like mechanical devices. There's nothing biological that scientists require for aging. Some people are done when they are young, others live a relatively long time, and no one really knows why.

So I question this notion of death and aging. Why do we think that death is inevitable?

Julia: I remember vividly when my mother told me that everyone had to die — I kept asking why that was so.

Herb: Yes. And most of us, if we are honest, remember an incident when we began to believe in death. We didn't believe it previously. And yet, because of the mind-body connection, what we believe is part of what happens to our body.

I talk to people a lot about death and aging. Awareness of mortality is unique to human beings. Most of us try not to think about those things. We mainly just think about death as something that happens to other people. We try to hide from it. And so much of our life becomes death-oriented, because we are focused on trying to avoid it.

It is very difficult for most people to seriously entertain the possibility of death's happening to them. They change the subject.

You have to be willing to talk about death to consider immortality.

Julia: You say that death is a cultural concept. Can you explain that?

Herb: Sure. Watch the news or read the paper. They explain to us exactly how we age every few years. They have charts and articles about it. That doesn't make it true.

The medical profession will take certain conditions seriously if you have them when you're in your twenties. But if you have the same condition when you're in your forties or fifties, they will tell you it's "normal aging." They won't even try to help you or look for a solution.

We need to look at our beliefs and try to expose ourselves to new beliefs and thoughts. See what our culture is teaching us, and then see what we really think.

Julia: I'm interested in how you continue to have faith in the concept of immortality in our world, surrounded as we are by at least the appearance of death.

Herb: Well, I think a good example is to think about the Wright Brothers. I went to Kitty Hawk last year, and I found out that the day before the Wright Brothers flew, they tried it and crashed. They probably tried and crashed a lot, in the beginning. And everyone said — it was documented — "If God wanted man to fly, He would have given us wings."

I see immortality in the same light. For millennia, humans wanted to fly and could not, and everyone said it was impossible. But that belief was not true. Flying is possible. In the same way, people want to live forever and have not been able to do that, and everyone says it's impossible.

Just the fact that you don't believe something doesn't make it untrue. Now, we can fly everywhere. We can fly to the Moon. I think it is possible that immortality may make the same advances.

We are living longer than we thought possible a few centuries ago, just as we are flying further than we thought possible. I see immortality as a concept that hasn't found its time yet.

Everything is changing slowly. When John Glenn went back up, that was an affirmation to older people that life is changing. You don't have to be retired in your fifties or sixties. You can still do important things.

Julia: I know some people who are interested in immortality — or at least in not aging — and they will refuse to tell others their age. Do you do this?

Herb: No. I'm 51. But I know of someone who changes her age in the computer every year. She has access to the records. I think that's too much trouble. But I do understand the rationale in not telling people your age. When we receive other people's idea of what our age means, we may reflect their mentality about it.

Julia: Have you had any significant changes in your life since you became an immortalist?

Herb: I'm happier. I'm more optimistic and enthusiastic, because I don't expect my life to end. I don't expect to be bored, or to go into retirement.

Julia: Are you healthier?

Herb: You know, I've never thought of that before, but it's true. I haven't been sick very often since I became an immortalist. I am healthier. I used to be sick a lot more before I changed my beliefs.

Julia: Is there anything else you want to tell me about immortality? Any recommendations for the readers?

Herb: We didn't really discuss religion or spirituality, and those are real concerns of mine. For example, there are religious ideas that encourage us to devote our whole existence here to some afterlife. They think that it's a sin to want to extend your life, and that the afterlife is more valuable than this one. I don't agree with that.

I'm also focused on the spiritual side of immortalism. I believe in spirituality and meditation. But for some people, just working with the scientific information may be the best way, at least at the beginning.

For example, I knew someone who was two hundred pounds overweight who believed he could become an immortal through spiritual beliefs. That may be so, but he needed to think about his health. His body may not hold out long enough for him fully to take in these beliefs.

Basically, my advice would be to stay open to new ideas, to be positive, and to always question what you have been taught.
