US HOT STOCKS: Layne, Steelcase, Micron Active In Late Trading

U.S. stocks ended lower Thursday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 78 points to 13046, the Standard & Poor's 500-stock index declined 10 points to 1393 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 12 points to 3063. Among the companies with shares actively trading after hours are Layne Christensen Co. (LAYN), Steelcase Inc. (SC and Micron Technology Inc. (MU).
