I am sad to say that we have had a housefire and lost everything.  I am sitting at a computer in the lobby of the hotel where the Red Cross has put us up til Monday check out time.  We are needing to get a rental somewhere and do not know if we will in time.  Please pray for us and if you have any encouragement I would love to hear it.  The kids and I were home and we still have some of the animals.  We lost the bunny and still cannot find 4 kitties.  Ozzie my predator cat is singed pretty well and we are attempting to nurse him back to health.  I spent some time in the hospital from my injuries and am on the mend.  Hubby had the week off with pay from his job and so worked for me so I could keep my job.  Lost my purse and so now have to get the birth certificate for all of us, social security cards as well and then my license redone.  Wish I had someone to hold my hand sometimes.  I thought you should know so that my absence is explained.  I did click to donate today and then posted this announcement.  I hope none of you have to ever experience this.  I thank you for being my friends.  I appreciate you very much.  I hope to keep you updated if you are interested and be a busy member here soon.  Wish my luck, prayers are welcome.  Hope you can have a good finish to your week!!!

My hours have now changed and am preparing to be around a bit more...I found this petition of an individual in need...I have always known that stress has visited alot of others and am wondering if I am part of a handful that responds to others....In my case response has been sparse when I have told my story and asked for help whether in guidance or sources or yes even donations..  I know that 10 or 20 dollars is nothing to some folk...I have proof!!  Before I went on vacation a visit to the laundromat was in order...while there I chatted with an older lady...she was a bit lonely...however when I was busy and the lady visited with my children...they mentioned our housefire...she and I at a later point were chatting again.. she asked me about the fire...I related the story which I seem pretty good at by now..thankfully am not weepy most of the time during the telling now...anyway...she said she would like to donate...I asked her if she was sure?!! She said God was urging he to do something...so she prayed "let me have a 20 dear God"  well she flipped  through some bills and said "Oh..I have a 50, dear, please take this.."  I was shocked and asked her again if she was sure?!! She assured me that it was what she wished to do...I took it and thanked her very much...hugged and told her how encouraging it was to have met her...I had a load to tend to and thanked her again and when I turned around to ask her to let me write down her name..she had gone...I wish to raise her up as an example of how we could and sorry if I hurt anyone...should be.   I plan wholeheartedly to help others if and when I get my family back on our feet...currently I stand with others and offer what physical things I can do until I can donate and come to the aid of others...Thanks for sharing this with me..I think we have about 171 dollars in the house account..wish for, pray for, send positive energies toward that account or our way for that to grow so that we can live a better life...

Hello everyone...some of you know we had a housefire in the summer of 2004 and help has been hard to find...story is at http://helpneeded.zoomshare.com/ and now I have contacted Christian Aid Ministries located in Berlin, Ohio..right in my backyard so to speak..they have folk that can do the work and am hoping that the homedepotfoundation.org/support_housing_apply.html will be working with them so that my house can be repaired...

Do I dare ask for a letter writing compaign to help me...?  Well here is the address:  Christian Aid Ministries. P.O. Box 360 Berlin, Ohio 44610

If you could drop them a couple of lines as to them making a bit of time for my family and I...we will be forever in your debt

That is a pic of my daughter...she is a teenager and sharing a room with a little brother...in a trailer...yuck!  Just thought you might want to see a face affected by our situation!  hmmm

Hello to everyone...haven't blogged in a bit so this share is truly shared with everyone...some or most of you know that I had a housefire a couple of summers ago and have been having a hard way to go with the family here since then...well we tried again for a grant to rebuild the burnt portio of our house and was once again turned down...we just weren't in the city that they focus on...they referred us to CT consultants and they were the ones that turned us down before...their picture of the house turned them off from us...I can get the house rebuilt for the mere 30,000 they were stating and I am sure I can do it..Well now we sit since I paid the propane bill which we were behind on a bit..only 600 dollars left to go and the electric is mostly paid up..it seems all the money we spend on these utilities could be better spent on the house...we were solar and windpowered and didn't have the slavery to the utilities.. We worked for the past 20 to 25 yrs and thought that easily we could get a portion of that back as in a grant and get our lives back to square one not an advance just at the fighting chance to be contributing members of socieity again... I shared my website with the church which had the free food giveaway to night and hopefully some prayers will motivate God in our favor...something needs to be done but darned if I can find it...so I am looking for any one that can lead me through a grant process or fund raising or I don't know you tell me...we need help... a hand up and no longer a hand out...I look forward to any responses that I can get..please lead me and my family back to decent living!!!

Well, my website is getting some hits. Probably due to the meta tags and being listed on a few of my other sites and then my word of mouth with my friends that give me suggestions and hope.  Well, now there is a donation button.  It is linked through my Paypal account and you don't even need Paypal to make a donation.  So there is an easy way to help with only a few clicks and a few dollars.  If enough people would chip in a few dollars each, the pot could grow to enough to provide for the materials and possiblly professional workers.  Have some that think they can come in the summer for a couple of weeks of work to repair it.... So am hoping for donation to buy the things listed on the site and am sure a couple of others that I did not think of.  Too close to the project so to speak.  Well share again soon!  Thanks to all for the positive thought!!!!!

I am thankful for this site where so many things are tenderly cared for.  I have been able to become involved the best that I can for now and feel better about myself for it.  However, a few of you know that my family experiences a housefire 2 summers ago and since then we have met up with roadbloack each way we have turned.  We currently live in a really old trailer and we don't think it will make it through another winter.  So here is the share....a net friend shared with me a site where I could create a website looking for help.  It is http://helpneeded.zoomshare.com/  and I would appreciate you checking it out and then counseling me if changes or improvements need made.  We will entertain all ideas and respond to all questions and include them on the site.  Hopefully this will get my family of 4 back to square one and allow us to become contributing members to society again.  Thanks in advance and thank you to all of you who have become my friend and shared your posititvity with me.  Continued success to Care2!!!
