Today on the news they spoke of a shooting on the Virginia Tech Campus. ## Dead that I'm aware. I remember 9/11, being in school when we turned on the news. I remember how it effected everyone else, how shocked and surprised they were. I wasn't, not really. I just sat there. I never said a word, never shed a tear. Just stared at the television. Today I did the same thing. It doesn't amaze me in the least that these sort of things are happening. In fact I'm surprised that it doesn't happen more often. Our government seems to piss of more people in more parts of the world than I thought was even possible. I'd expect any number of countries to attack at any minute myself. I don't know much about the guy the started shooting today, but I believe firmly that it could have been prevented, could have been stopped. I don't believe in someone simply snapping, there are warning signs in every instance, it's only a matter of knowing where to look and knowing the signs. Todays events were tragic and unessecary.
