It hit 90 degrees here in New York City today, Columbus Day. It felt more like July 4th.

And people were collapsing from heat exhaustion at the Chicago Marathon yesterday.

Yet, George W. Bush continues to NOT support mandatory ceilings on Greenhouse Gas Emmissions.

This will be yet another horrible part of his infamous legacy.

What a fool!

Bush vetoed the bi-partisan Children's Health Bill!

“Today we learned that the same president who is willing to throw away a half trillion dollars in Iraq is unwilling to spend a small fraction of that amount to bring health care to American children,” said Senator Edward M. Kennedy, the chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.

Mr. Kennedy’s fellow Democrat from Massachusetts and Mr. Bush’s 2004 opponent, Senator John Kerry, said, “Today with a single stroke of his veto pen, President Bush single-handedly jeopardized health care for millions of poor children.”

Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, said the “heartless veto” showed how “detached President Bush is from the priorities of the American people.”

Poor Dubbya!

He's having a tough time...

All his YES MEN are being driven out the door.

This is a man who likes coming up with outrageous ideas and then having the YES MEN around him find a way to justify it...

"Hey, I wanna go get Saddam to show my Dad."

OK, Mr Pres. Let's say he has WMD.

"Hey I wanna listen to private phone calls"

OK, MR. Prez, You have Executive Privileges in time of war.

"Hey, I wanna be President"

OK, Governor, I can make you Prez.

Bye Rummy. Bye Gonzo, Bye Rovie...

Can't say we'll miss any of you...

Don't slam the door on the way out...

And say hi to Karl Rove over there in purgatory where you both belong.

You are both a disgrace  to America...

And I hope Congress invites you back soon for a chat.

Ba-Bye

Look what I just got today from the White House. And so personal, too:

On behalf of President Bush, thank you for your correspondence.

We appreciate hearing your views and welcome your suggestions.

Due to the large volume of e-mail received, the White House cannot respond to every message.

Thank you again for taking the time to write.
