      • I have just signed a petition and now regret it !

        Now,now, before you have to sit down a steady your nerves I will explain. I was browsing the petitions when one caught my eye. I like most of us on here no doubt, dislike plastic bags. I guess we are all aware of the damage they cause, to our environment on land and sea, the earth we call home and it's beings. The thought ran through my mind, "this is what I will do today sign plastic bag petitions" So, I clicked on the one that started this trail of thought and duly signed. Then I realised that in my eagerness I hadn't checked to see who the petition was aimed at.....Then I realised,
      • I have just signed a petition and now regret it ! 

        I sign a lot of petitions and I do check out what they are about and so on. But, in this instant I was just looking to sign as I felt so strongly about it. Then. Ah! ...I saw that it's targeted to "all". Maybe it was a first attempt at a petition....and a caring idea too. I don't know, but..

        One minute I was on a high, on this golden journey of pleasure supporting meaningful causes, Something that I feel is important to all of us on Care2. Now I am annoyed with myself that I didn't check first. I know that I'm not the first and won't be the last to feel like this. I wanted to find a way to suggest the petition be removed as it only had 4 signatures (Yes, don't rub it in, we know why !) lol. So my question is will it sit there doing nothing.....should we be able to mark unworkable petitions for vetting....I don't know if this is possible or maybe too time consuming.
        Anyway, kind readers, I must return to my signing, checking as I go. Thanks for reading my rant and thank you for caring and sharing, together we truly can make a difference. xxxx
