I wrote this for a friend that passed ons family this week...And was deciding whether to pass it on here or not....But I decided if there was one person out there that needed these words and it may give them comfort...Thats is why I wrote it...So here it is
Presents carefully gathered around the Christmas tree
Ornaments strategically placed and garland hanging just right
Strings of light hang perfectly to brighten every area on the tree and make it bright
Homes and gardens would be envious if they all could
all but see
Such beauty to behold, everything as perfect as can be
Friends and family gathering around
Children giggling with glee
Enjoying the fireplace, as they keep warm and enjoy
the beauty of its flickering light
Holding eggnog and watching presents opened under
the tree,
It is Christmas night
The waited for moment has arrived, taking pictures
And making memories with your eyes
It can be all over in a flash
The real fun of Christmas is watching the children's faces As they rip open up the boxes
Wishing and hoping that what they wanted will be inside
Santa has come, every-ones eyes are open wide
Soon this year will be over
And a new one will have begun
Let us enjoy this Christmas, and make special memories
And hold the love in our hearts as the new year comes
Let us watch the children and listen to their laughter
And keep it in our hearts all year long
Why do we have to Wait all year for the holidays to come
Cant we keep all this love in our hearts as each day has begun
Perhaps if we watch the children
And remember this season for a longer time to come We can all learn how to not worry so much about tomorrow
And remember how to really have some fun....
love is all...hugzz..jaz Happy holiday everyone whatever you celibrate.. Thank you Marsha for that pic, I adore it... much love and blessings hugzz..jaz
I am probably the last
person anyone would
expect to own a Kindle.
My house is full of big,
beautiful books with that
delicious old book smell.
I have hundreds of my
own, hundreds of Colin's,
hundreds in the loft from
a University friend of my
sister,...
I have retired from
running the missing
children web sights after
giving so many years
devotion.I have asked
Scarlett who has
supported me for a long
time to take over the
running and i wish her
the very best for the
future.
The rich variety of music
in the first Elizabethan
age is something we can
all enjoy today.
Renaissance and
Elizabethan music came in
two categories - sacred
and secular. Translate
that as religious and
fun! There were no
conflicts between mods,
rocke...
