Happy Valentines Day

A special time
A day when hearts come together

A perfect day for love to flow

to everyone all over the world

Hearts touch

But it doesn't have to be just for boys

and girls

Even our age does not matter

We are never too young or too old

Distance means nothing

Our love can drift anywhere

It can warm hearts that have felt left

out in the cold

It can even go right next door

To the friends that we adore

When we share our love it does not matter

where we are

What we look like is really unimportant

We can be large or quite small

The love that flows on valentines day

Is one size fits all

Our loving greetings can flow all over
the world

Australia, Africa, The united kingdom

And of course good old USA

Friends lovers and family's hearts come
 together

And our honored and cherished in
 some way

Candy, jewelry, special greetings, a
 special dinner

For some a beautiful bouquet

Cupid is extremely busy touching
overs hearts

On this special day

Yes our love can flow all over the world

In some most inventive ways

Is there a better day

To send out our love to all

To remember all the people we cherish
 in so many ways

A celebration of the heart

Sending love and remembering

each of you

We remember
Sep 11, 2006
How many of us remember, where we were
And what we were doing?
Many of us watched in disbelief and horror as events
unfolded on that day
Our own airplanes being used as missiles, bombs
How could this ever happen in the U.S.A
So many lost friends and loved ones
As angel wings surrounded so many on that tragic day
We remember
How brave people risked their lives to save others
On that day hero's were abundant
This was love in action in the U.S.A
We Remember
People carrying others down flights of stairs
On that day hero's were born
Instead of this tragic act separating us
It went the other way
We remember
People who risked using cell phones to call their
loved ones
With caring words they needed to say
We remember
Those brave people we lost
We remember, passengers on an airplane
Who had the raw courage to rise up against
the terrorists
And not let their plane be used to kill many others
in that way
We remember
The brave policemen and the firemen who lost their lives
As so many others they unselfishly tried to save
We remember as dogs wore the pads of there
feet raw
To find survivor's
And volunteers worked night and day
We remember
The day the angels held so many in there arms
How do you express the unbelief and grief
We felt for so many that were lost in such a
tragic way
We can only honor those lost and send our love
and condolences
To those that lost so much that terrible day
How do you put into words
The horror we felt about what happened, in
such a way
We remember
And we always will
Those we lost that day

And we remember it still
As if it were yesterday
We remember
The tears in our hearts forever,  here to stay
My heartfelt sympathy and love

Those who paid and still pay the price

Risking their very limb and life

Those who left and still leave

Their homes, families, husbands, children

and wives

Give up their jobs, their whole way of life

To live each day with pain and fear and strife

All To give us better lives

Remember

We have the freedom to vote

The freedom to speak our mind each day

And human rights are still growing more as we

understand and learn each others ways

We have the freedom to worship and the freedom To pray

We are not shot or imprisoned for what we think, believe, or say

So on this special day

Let us remember those who are now risking their lives

and who though the years have bravely fought

To give us the right to live as we do

Let their lives and sacrifices not count for naught

Let us take a few minutes in our busy lives

To honor our ancestors, family, friends, allies

husbands and wives

Let us honor them and give thanks

each in our own way

Remember when

Remember when you were sick and
all alone

Do you recall who took care of you

Put off needs of their own

Remember when you found yourself
without a home

Who was it that took you in

In-spite of their own problems

They helped you out till you could get
 a place of your own

Remember when you needed money

And your job had been lost

Who was it that gave you that loan

Even though they were struggling

To make it on their own

Remember when you had a problem

Who was that person who stayed
up half the night

Talking to you on the phone

Remember when you needed help

really needed a friend

They were there for you

and probably would be again

Have you called them lately or
sent them a pm?

When was the last time you really talked

to them?

Asked if they were O. K.

Or if there was anything you could do

Perhaps now they have things going on

And they could use a friend too

You never know what will happen in life

Even when we get back on our feet and
 rise above it all

We need to remember those in our life
 that helped us

So now we could stand tall

We need to fill the cup back up again

And remember those people who helped
 us through it all

Don't be so busy moving forward that you
 forget where you have been

We never know when we may need
someone's help again

So in life, Don't ever forget

Always remember when

I wrote this for a friend that passed ons family this week...And was deciding whether to pass it on here or not....But I decided if there was one person out there that needed these words and it may give them  comfort...Thats  is why I wrote it...So here it is


Remember me


It was time for me to leave now

I'm sorry I didn't really wish to go

I was needed elsewhere

But I will miss you all so

I just wanted you to know

We are not always given a choice

as to whether we stay or go

I'm in good hands now

All my pain is gone

I am still quite near to you

Only my body has gone

Ill be watching over you

And sending you love from

above

I'm in a beautiful place now

Where spirits are filled with love

In my heart I still hold my memories

of you

I am not gone, when you think or

speak of me

As you so often do

My spirit forever lives on

It is just my body that is gone

So speak of me often

Remember me

I am alive and well and living deep in

your heart

Don't be sad, I know you will miss me

But the love in my heart keeps

me near, don't you see?

Go on with your life I wish you too

A Season to remember

A season to remember 
Presents carefully gathered  around the Christmas tree
Ornaments strategically placed and garland hanging
 just right
Strings of light hang perfectly to brighten every area on
 the tree and make it bright
Homes and gardens would be envious if they all could
 all but  see
Such beauty to behold, everything  as perfect as can be
Friends and family gathering around
Children giggling with glee
Enjoying the fireplace, as they keep warm and enjoy
 the beauty of its flickering light
Holding eggnog and watching presents opened under
 the tree,
It is Christmas night
The waited for moment has arrived, taking pictures
And making memories with your eyes
It can be all over in a flash
The real fun of Christmas is watching the children's faces
As they rip open up the boxes
Wishing and hoping that what they wanted will be inside
Santa has come, every-ones eyes are open wide
Soon this year will be over
And a new one will have begun
Let us enjoy this Christmas, and make special memories
And hold the love in our hearts as the new year comes
Let us watch the children and listen to their laughter
And keep it in our hearts all year long
Why do we have to Wait all year for the holidays to come
Cant we keep all this love in our hearts as each day
has begun
Perhaps if we watch the children
And remember this season for a longer time to come
We can all learn how to not worry so much about tomorrow
And remember how to really have some fun....
