It is up to every one and every foundation in our world to take a step that hasn't anything to do with mere profits, because the liabilities have been great in our past as we are now seeing and able to predict more readily. It is most important to raise the economy, however, not at the expense of our environmental futures for the state of the economy. One cannot exist without the other, and the environments' failure to thrive will cast a shadow on all economies should we not start and continue where we have made responsible choicemaking in Congress and the Legislature. Actions do speak louder than mere words. It is in the seeking out of alternatives to our past thinking and rash decisionmaking powers that would involve profound forethought in the areas of environmental, social, economic, and global responsibility that make a man and his world unite. It is of utmost importance, since our ignorant predecessors have not.
