It is time to stop buying Made in China products.

Aside from the fact that American (and other countries as well) jobs have migrated to China, China in turn is sending garbage to many sources of products.

For example, pet food. How many animals have to die before U.S. companies stop importing poisoned contents for pet food?

Sea Food. It isn't inspected, and there is no product source on the foods we buy. How can we tell if the food is contaminated, or where it came from without origin source labels. There was a law that was passed to provide this information, but the lobbyists have fought its implementation.

Toys. Have you missed how many thousands of toys Mattel has had to recall because of lead paint? And this is just one company.

Medicines. I believe the manager of this arena was executed for the poisons in medical or supplements for the U.S. market. Wow, that's a bit heavy handed, but it caused some people real grief.

Toothpaste ( The cost of this product for some sources was as little as 9 cents a tube. Sounds like dumping to me.

This is by no means a complete list, but I have been suspicious of Made in China products for a long time. I avoid them at all costs, especially if it is consumable. If it's electronic, I question if I really need it, and most of the time I don't buy it. I've had too many electronic products quit almost immediately out of the box.

How about you? Are you willing to risk your health, or your children's health to Made in China products?

I'm a believer in free markets, but the Chinese have abused us and our markets beyond all reason. It's time we paid them back by not buying, or by buying as little as possible of anything Made in China.

It's time to Boycott Made in China products.

Hey, Mom,

Have you ever read the warning on the box of toothpaste you are buying?

Warning? Yeah. There's a warning on the box. Not the tube.

You throw the box away. You keep the tube. So when I say check the warning, you have to read the warning on the box.

The warning usually says, "If accidentally swallowed, contact your nearest poison control center."

Why? Well, are you familiar with the chemical that airport crews spray on the wings of airplanes when it's cold and icy? It's called propylene glycol. It's a form of anti-freeze, and it's usually an item that's listed as an ingredient in toothpaste.

There's the possibility that SLS is in your toothpaste, too. In its basic form, you can find SLS as a floor degreaser. Yummy!

Some toothpastes contain both chemicals, while others will contain one or the other.

Propylene glycol may also be found in some bakery products, some supplements and in some creams or ointments.

There has, to my knowledge, never been a study about the effects these chemicals have on the human body. By themselves, they are harmful. In small amounts, the body probably handles them.

However, why would you intentionally put them on or into your body, much less into or on young children?

Next time you are in the market for toothpaste, read the warning on the box.

Is there a toothpaste without these chemicals? Of course. You just have to find it, and it usually isn't in your local market.

Toothpaste is the commodity of the future, thanks to the Chinese.

The Chinese made a lot of people in a lot of countries aware of what not to do with a product.

Even though they put poisons in dog and cat food, not everybody has a pet. They also allowed for lead to be used in the manufacture of toys. However, there are more people that brush their teeth than have pets, and some of the people with or without pets may have children that brush their teeth, but they poisoned the toothpaste as well.

What were these people thinking?
Thus, toothpaste is now the commodity of the future.

There is an unusual demand for safe toothpaste.

There is an unusual demand by government agencies and charities for toothpaste.

If you want to help your fellow man (including children), investigate the opportunities in toothpaste.

For you purists, some brands of toothpaste contain SLS and/or propylene glycol. You can read about them at Wikipedia.
