After first learning about human trafficking, many people want to help in some way but do not know how. Here are just a few ideas for your consideration.

1. Learn the red flags that may indicate human trafficking and ask follow up questions so that you can help identify a potential trafficking victim. Human trafficking awareness training is available for individuals, businesses, first responders, law enforcement, and federal employees.

2. In the United States, call the National Human Trafficking Resource Center at 1-888-3737-888 (24/7) to get help and connect with a service provider in your area, report a tip with information on potential human trafficking activity; or learn more by requesting training, technical assistance, or resources. Call federal law enforcement directly to report suspicious activity and get help from the Department of Homeland Security at 1-866-347-2423 (24/7), or submit a tip online at www.ice.gov/tips, or from the U.S. Department of Justice at 1-888-428-7581 from 9:00am to 5:00pm (EST). Victims, including undocumented individuals, are eligible for services and immigration assistance.

Child abuse is more than bruises and broken bones. While physical abuse might be the most visible, other types of abuse, such as emotional abuse and neglect, also leave deep, lasting scars. The earlier abused children get help, the greater chance they have to heal and break the cycle—rather than perpetuate it. By learning about common signs of abuse and what you can do to intervene, you can make a huge difference in a child’s life.

I wanted to write to each of you individually but I find myself with extreme time constraints.  I am having a 20% sale off all items in my etsy shop (excluding gift certificates) this Wednesday, April 24th and do not be concerned  - I will try and remember to open the coupon on the 23rd before I go to bed due to international sales  - and keep it open until the morning following -

I am attempting to raise funds for my husband's dental partials (there is a deadline they don't tell you about when you ask for assistance and then when they grant it you only have so many months to pay), trying to get my car fixed before I go to New Mexico for my grandson's first holy communion next month - though I am not Catholic- but respect their wishes - and for all of you who know that I have had trouble with my foot- it seems they will try steroids again - which I don't like and if that doesn't work another medication - and if that doesn't work I will name my crutches - for will need them for life -

15/04/2012 today we went to walk outside and visited a protected area for the birds ..it was fun today because it was something new that I never did or see..

I saw trees on the ground that people cut, but my hubby said that beavers cut them. I thought he was joking, but he was not and I never knew beavers could cut many big trees like that. Could also see in the middle of the pond there home as you can see in the picture.
I took some pictures, geese fighting vdo to share with friends..

the first vdo you will see the geese couple walk and then another geese couple walk along to them from far away. Then look at the next video as they smack talk each other and start to fight

As we were walking on the foreshore of the lake, we saw and heard a Geese couple making a lot of noise and getting louder and louder whilst moving closer to another geese couple. Then they started to fight. When you see the video, you will see the male goose attack the other male goose and when that happens, the female bites her mates attacker and then the other female joins in and bites the female goose who bit her mate. It's just like when people get into fights and their partners help them.

So many years this was an eagles nest and we always saw the eagles there in spring, but, this spring, two geese hijacked the nest for themselves. If you look at them, they are very nervously looking around everywhere as if they did something wrong. You can see they feel guilty but they still want the nest. This is very unusual as they are always by the lake, but this time it looks like they really wanted a room with a view. Now they have a natural condo with 360 view.
